It hurts me to take off 2 stars for this review, but there are two major problesm warranting the harsh review. The toolbox itself is a great idea and I really like how little room it takes up. The inner drawer is super useful for a lot of my electrical tools, but that is just one example. It has some good features to be sure.Unfortunately it has a very very serious major flaw in its design. The plastic hinges are atrocious. They are the worst hinges I can imagine. What was the manufacturer thinnking! A slight breeze will bust them! If you open ip up, its own weight flipping back will break them! If I had not already seen a previous review about them I would have already busted it.The second issue is the price. This is a cheap piece of light, thin, plastic. At this price you could have at least built in some real hinges! The box may be light duty, and I really like the design, but the hinges makes this a very delicate, and flimsy tool box. Please fix this major flaw as this is not worth the price you are asking with these delicate little plastic hinges. Also, improve the weather seal, as it does not completely seal and is not fully in place in a couple of places.

Had it on a couple days ago, Only opened lid couple times , both lid hinges broke , after further inspection is absolutely ridiculous. The cheap way the plastic hinges are made. This is an expensive little box and has absolute garbage hinge, it’s absolutely worthless to me now with a broken lid. Never buy this product.

This product is as exactly as described and – better yet – a simple and elegant solution to adding secure storage to (in my case) a Polaris Ranger; while the price might seem a little high, it is totally fair given (1) the significantly higher expense of the official Polaris “Lock and Ride” system alternatives, (2) the simplicity and ease of installation (after un-boxing and -bagging, less than 1 minute) and (3) the functionality of it. The only thing I might add to the ridiculously simple instruction sheet would be once you line the three “pins” up with the holes already built into the side of the bed, and push it down, the last inch or so requires just a little more pressure to really fully seat it. The rubber clasps look like they will last, and there is a removable try that covers the portion of the box over the bed side so that even that space is useful.

This toolbox was a neat concept. It slides into quick mount holes. I have serious concerns of the quality vs asking price. The plasricky feel is reminiscent of an at home 3D printer. The hinges are plastic as well. It comes with a tray. The toolbox is small, but deep. I don't feel like this is a good value.

I love the 25ft cord. It's saved me a few times in a few tricky situations where a single outlet extension cord just won't cut it. It's worked reliably so far. The cord is also very well insulated it looks. Haven't had it trip out yet due to a power surge or anything so I can't speak on it's reliability that way.

Long story. I bought a computerized Pfaff sewing machine. Right out of the box, the LCD screen frequently displayed a "motor overload" message and briefly stopped working. Then other times the entire screen went blank and no buttons worked. I did some online searching and found that a plain Jane brown extension cord could be the culprit. I looked down, sure enough. I was guilty. The posts I read said the computer is super sensitive to electrical fluctuations. So I bought a surge protector at a big box home improvement store. Same issues. Not only that, one day I plugged my vacuum into that so-called surge protector and I heard a pop and all the lights on it went out. Fried that one. Then I ordered this Tripp Lite 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip. I used it this weekend for the first time. I sewed for hours and hours for two days and that sewing machine didn't have a single computer issue, not one. And this heavy duty 25' cord is insanely long. I no longer have issues finding the nearest receptacle. Also, each socket on it has sliding dust protector cover that you can close when not in use. You also get a Lifetime Warranty and $75,000 Ultimate Lifetime Insurance for connected devices. AND, the prices it so reasonable. I love this surge protector. It literally saved my $1900 sewing machine from getting fried.

Since we haven't had a power surge, I can't comment on that particular portion of this product, but I can say that the design and solid feel are great aspects. I got this to use for my computer I just built and it's working great. The spaces between the outlets are perfect for fitting all the important slots on them, and the power strip itself is a good size - not too big to be difficult to keep out of the way, but big enough to be sturdy and easy to plug items into. The cord is a little long for my purposes since I set up right next to a wall outlet, but it's not too difficult to deal with. Once we had everything arranged how we wanted it, we just zip-tied it into a bundle to keep it from flailing around. If you have cats, you'll likely need to make a small cardboard cover for the power switch - our cats never fail to step all over them and flick the power on and off a few times. This strip works perfectly for me and I'm very happy with the product. Much of the reason we went with this brand was because of other great reviews about the company and their policies. If I ever deal with them directly, this review will be updated to reflect that - but as of this point, this is a great purchase for protecting my investment in my computer.

Purchased to protect multiple home theater device including a HDTV and PC, and both cable and ethernet, I chose this Tripp Lite product based upon other Amazon reviews. Tripp Lite is not a brand I have ever purchased before, but I must say that out of the box it seems more substantial than the Belkin branded surge protected power strip it replaced.I liked that three ports were dedicated to larger connectors, and that the cable (in/out), phone and ethernet ports were clearly labeled, especially since I didn't really find a clear 'how to' in the directions regarding hook-up on these. For example, when hooking up my , I did what made sense to me. I connected my over air antenna into the 'in' for cable, and then took a short bit of coaxial cable from the Tripp Lite and put it directly into the Ant-In port on my TV. Everything worked perfectly, so I guess I did it right and now have surge protection for that device and can enjoy FREE over-the-air TV. (I'm a cord cutter who wrote: to help non-techy types.)For internet (wanted a wired connection directly to my HDTV), I connected the Ethernet cable into 'in' on the Tripp Lite, and then took a short Ethernet cable from the surge protector to my TV's Ethernet port. Again, protecting the connection.I kind of wish the ports for the Ethernet and cable were on the side of the unit as there's not much room when this thing is fully loaded with connected devices, but on the other hand it's nice to have the cables running 'up' from the strip on the floor, versus an octopus-looking thing that takes up more room.Overall, I'm very pleased with this item. It has a super-long (10') heavy duty cable attached and would be perfect for a shop or home office. I am confident I made the right purchase at the right price and will recommend it to others.TIP: If you want to increase the usefulness of this product, consider using 'Y' cables to double some of your outlets. is what I purchased and they work great!
