This is just real handy wire to repair a lot of electrical things...I use it on my antique car to add lights and make repairs...I am happy with this purchase and would reorder as needed....

I bought this for some wiring in a camper trailer I am working on. It works, the wire seems good to me and insulation seems to be real silicone insulation. I have no idea how to test it other than the melting point. But I got the wire and used it already. Have had no issues with the small loads I put on it. Still have plenty left for anything else I need it for. I used it to wire some 12 volt anderson, car outlet and usb outlets and they should never get more than 20 amps on any of them.

Did exactly as we needed. It bored through Conner block and brick so we could install a dryer vent through the house. Perfect, inexpensive tool for the job.

I re wired an old (factory) machine, I was worried about the tight corners and what was necessary to wire it up properly and safely... This wire made it a dream, I chuckled several times because I got lucky and this wire made it so much easier to wire a complex system. I would certainly buy this type/brand of wire again for other wiring needs... This product gets five stars from me !(NOTE: Sometimes a job needs to have wire that is a bit more firm for 'direction' or 'support' Etc.... This wire is like a wet noodle, you cant feed this very easy by pushing it, only pulling it, because it's so flexible. It is excellent for certain jobs. )

I had a requirement for a single hole. This made it through brick and then block behind it. I drilled pilot holes around the border as others suggested. I went slow, but the whole process was 20mins or so with lots of stopping and dipping the bit into some water to cool it down.If you want to run a dryer vent see if you can find something slightly bigger. This 4inch bit was a tight fit getting the vent thru but I eventually got it. 4 1/8 would be the sweet spot I think.I have no plans or need to ever use this thing again, so I’m happy I got it for 40. Real ones that a contractor might need run around 200+. It saved me 20 hrs of manual work and at least 3 fights with the misses.
