Southwire doesn't disappoint - this is really good quality solid copper ground wire you can trust. Unfortunately, a lot of wire people sold today isn't pure copper or the gauge is smaller than stated; this stuff is the real deal and very high quality. I also think it is a pretty good value for what you get. Thick solid wire like this isn't necessarily easy to work with, but this stuff works well, and is the expected thickness.

I used this as a ground wire from the subpanel to my metal building. I ran it down to the UFER clamp, the metal base plate, and a metal post. It conformed well to all of the twists and turns.

I installed a whole house humidifier that required a splice into the copper water line. Since I used PEX, I had to add a continuous ground around the splice.Nothing more to say than this is exactly what I needed. I haven't had any problems and I have continuity between both edges of the copper.

The wire is the same brand I could get locally. This included more feet at a better price
