Worked for a month and now doesn’t work at all. I bought a few new batteries for it because I though it went through the one that came with it. I tried two new batteries on it and nothing worked. I really enjoyed it when it was working. I kept the remote with my tripod so I didn’t move it too much. I didn’t bump it or drop it. It just stopped working.

Worked with my Fuji x-t30 right out of the box, well after the pairing process. The half depress for focus was accurate and easy. I also operated it from a distance of at least 40 feet. It worked flawlessly. I agree, it feels abit flimsy but not cheap. I would recommend a case for protection. I found that it fits perfectly in a pocket knife sheath which is attached to my tripod. Recommended.

For me, this little remote fills a huge gap in the Fuji x products. Many years ago I used to shoot Nikon and always had the small IR remote trigger in my camera bag. Being able to quickly and with no fuss trigger remotely allowed me to easily be part of many great pics over the years. Having to use 2 component external triggers that need to be connected is a nonstarter if you’re on the go hiking or on vacation. Now, this remote is the closest off the shelf thing to that little Nikon remote. It paired easily via Bluetooth and was delightfully surprised it could do so while also simultaneously paired with the phone app (I like that for geocoding the pics). The remote has a switch on the side, turn it on and the camera pairs in about 5-10 seconds (after initial pairing which went quickly and with no drama). The shutter release also allows for half press to focus. From what I’m seeing this remote is emulating the Fuji TG-BT1 mini tripod. Using this with an X-T5. If your Fuji camera is compatible, just buy this. Even if you’re not sure you think you need this, buy it, pair it and keep it in the camera bag… you’ll be glad you did.(Possible improvements… the zoom buttons don’t do anything with non motorized zooms, would be nice to have an even more compact and streamlined remote by removing those buttons. Given this is the only option out there, not going to deduct a star, however, wondering about purchasing a spare should this ever be discontinued and mine broke)
