For the money, this is really a good camera. As stated, it does not have optical zoom, that is, with lenses. I use it for filming model aircraft in action, and while it is far from perfect, it does perform well.I only have one issue with it, and that is the display. In bright light, and on a cloudy but sunny day, it is hard to find airplanes on the viewfinder. Some sort of removable glare shield would help tremendously.

I'm a documentary filmmaker by trade who usually uses several manual DSLR cameras to shoot interviews, however, I started a podcast with a friend and found my pro kit was super cumbersome to manage and maintain while also being on camera. This lil' guy was the answer. It's a wide enough angle and high enough quality that it can get all three of us in the shot and I can zoom into whomever is talking in post without losing quality. Also nice is that I could attach my existing wireless lav and use for our guest so I don't pick up too much noise. I still use a H4N with two wired lavs for host audio, but honestly the shotgun mic provided in this kit is probably fine for casual production. It comes with a light attachment that has a bight, warm, and cold setting which is cool for different effects - and all of the attachments are chargeable by USB-C. My only complaint would be that the hot shoe accessories included (light and shotgun mic) don't have an additional hot shoe on top of them to stack another accessory - but that's probably not an issue a casual video camera user cares about.All in all this lil' guy cut my set-up time down by more than half and because it has a 360 degree view screen and a remote, I didn't need to be behind the camera to hit stop and record. Bonus, it records on SD cards which makes it easy to transfer footage (it also apparently plugs right into a computer to record straight to hard drive or livestream, but I haven't tried those.)I haven't used it for much outside of attaching it to a pair of sticks for podcasts but its easy, lightweight, small, and fairly inexpensive enough that this camera is probably going to make onto the packing list for family vacations or projects I can do with the kids.

The 8K Ultra HD Camcorder brings a fantastic blend of quality and features, ideal for anyone from beginners to more experienced vloggers looking to step up their video quality. Offering 8K video recording at 15FPS and 48MP photos, it captures sharp, vibrant visuals that bring details to life. The Camcorder is 5 stars to me for what i use it for but remember, if the quality comes out bad it not the camera it the person who operating the camera, you can have a 5,000-dollar camera or camera at 100.00 if you don't learn how to use the camera and settings correctly on any camera you will never get awesome video or photos.

Really good value. Has much clearer picture then the previous cheaper one I had. Comes with all you see in the images. I like that it came with an actual battery charger so you can charge one battery while using the other. The camera that this replaced you had to charge the battery by plugging the camera into USB. The remote is really handy. The mic sound quality is really good and if needed you can charge it while recording as long as you have somewhere to plug the USB cable into. I haven't really used the light except to make sure that it works, which it does. Overall works really well, and there are a lot of functions and adjustments you can use. The only weird thing I noticed and it really isn't an issue is that when you have the screen open and rotated so it's facing you while the camera is (which is also a great feature), when it it switched on and it says "welcome" it is upside down. But once it gets to the actual video display it flips so the image is right side up. Again, not really an issue, just something quirky I noticed.

I bought this as a gift for my son for his 13th birthday, since he is interested in making his own videos. I’m impressed that it comes with everything you need to get started! I also like that it comes with two batteries, so you always have one ready. It was easy for my son to learn how to use. He took it to film an event at a local bat cave and my friend was so impressed with the quality that she ordered one to use with her theater class. It’s a great value and I’m thrilled with my purchase!
