I’m not sure I would purchase this item, the audio and video quality wasn’t so great. The anti stabilization is pretty bad as well.

This is a cheap camera. The camera does not have the ability to be flipped. So if you use the camera mounted upside down then the video will be upside down. I guess you can rotate the video using an editing program.Bought for my bike that has an under seat mount. Will probably give this to my youngest son for his YouTube videos.

I have been through a few personal (i.e. Sports and Spy/Body) cams, and NONE of them worked properly until I got THIS ONE.THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!The GOOD:REALLY small cube form factor - smallest sports camera I have ever seen!Built in battery comes charged!Assortment of mounting options and USB cable are included.Good Sound Quality indoors, not sure about wind noise outside.Relatively good video, but needs an editor to be better.So-so photography, needs touch up in image editor.EASY set up. Instructions are clear.GOOD Instructions but printed TOO SMALL to read even with a magnifying glass! NOTE: I scanned the manual as 3 JPG images (i.e. 3 pages) which can be zoomed in for clarity. I have included these scans in this review to help others. No copyright infringement intended, just trying to help other customers see!Extremely EASY to set up with computer and smart phone. The app actually works and lets you save videos/photos to a smart phone OR camera SD card.It has built in WIFI (doesn't use a router) so it pairs well when you have the phone nearby. It is supposed to work up to 33 feet distant. Not sure about that. The BAD:Too small to have its own screen, so a smart phone is recommended as a monitor. There is noticeable warping of the images/video (i.e. fish eye) An editor can fix this. Not as sensitive to light indoors. And editor can fix this.Image stabilization is not very good. The spring loaded microSD slot can fling the card across the room if you're not careful. BUT, there IS a rubber door to lock it in during use. It's only when inserting and removing the card that requires care. However, there is NO NEED to ever remove the card! The camera hooks up to the computer or phone so well that you can work with files through one of them. In fact, you can skip the SD card entirely, if you are WIFI linked to a smartphone.OVERALL:This is the only under $50 camera I have found that actually works. It's 1/6th the price of a top-of-the line sports camera, so it lacks some bells and whistles, but with what it can do, that's not so bad!I think it is a good starter action camera, and with some editing, videos and photos can look and sound very good.Hope this helps!Ease of use is VERY GOOD.

I bought this Camera to use in videoing my e-bike rides. In that capacity, it works well. It comes with hardware making it easy to mount on a bike helmet. It does what it's supposed to, taking reasonable quality video, and even having the capability to view it live on a cellphone via its free app.HOWEVER, it has several deficiencies that make it unsuitable for certain activities or events:- in environments with anything darker than bright, outdoor light, there are scan lines that are prominent and visible in its video. It really can't be used for indoor video unless it's as bright as a television studio...- loud audio (like that of a rock concert) comes out extremely distorted. I brought this camera to such a show and its video was unusable due to the distortion- it records video in separate files of five minutes each. My experience is that about 10-15% of the time, the files it creates are not readable by my Mac (I tried three different apps including Quicktime and VLC). No idea why. The ones that are readable are easily stitched together by an app such as iMovie to make a longer video.I saw this device as an inexpensive alternative to a GoPro, but sadly its deficiencies make it a poor alternative.

If you are looking for a compact action camera, you can spend $500 for a GoPro or around $150 for a Run Cam, which is really intended for use with drones. The Run Cam supposedly fits GoPro mounts but people in the reviews say it doesn't, so you have to figure out how to mount it yourself. I have never had an action camera before and I have only used it a little bit, but it's an inconspicuous camera that records decent video. If that's what you need then this will do the job at an affordable price.
