So the line is too flexible and it'll bend rather than pushing the brush. Here's a tip.Stick the HANDLE through the vent. Push as far as it'll go.Attach a cordless drill to the TIP OF THE BRUSH, you will see the end of the steel is braided at the end, attach drill to that.Now... Slowly spin up the drill and push the handle through to the end. Go around to the exit, grab your handle, and slowly pull.Boom, clean vent easy mode.I would say this product is great, just perhaps a bit pricey. But seeing as it was the only one I found like it, not complaining.

This brush was exactly what I needed to clean my dryer vent, which has a couple of right angle bends in the ductwork. The fairly flexible shaft may seem like its a bit "wet noodle-y", but that's what makes it easier to work it around bends without undue pressure, which can risk damage to the ductwork. I found that it just takes is a bit of twisting on the handle with one hand while pushing the shaft with the other to move it through the bends. I could have used a couple more feet of shaft length to get the brush through in one pass, but it was easy enough to just make one pass from the dryer end of the duct, then another from the outside end, then blow any remaining, loosened lint out with a low-power blast from an electric leaf blower. I won't claim the the job is something I'll be looking forward to doing once a month because it's so much fun, but this brush made it a lot easier, and at least I won't dread doing it whenever needed again in the future.

Service 5/5. When my first order never arrived, they promptly issued a refund. When I ordered again, they shipped it FedEx, even though Canada Post was the only option shown on the website. Excellent service! But only 4/5 on the Dryer Vent Duct Cleaning Brush. I have a long dryer vent and the brush only went in about 3 feet. Then it was like pushing string, no matter how hard I tried. However, I twisted the cable around my plumbing clean-out cable which is thicker and tried again. Worked just great! The double cables, plus the actual spiral twisting, made it work well.

The upside, the brush is pretty stiff and the metal spring (if I can describe the handle as a spring) seem quite durable. The down side, since you really can only pull, the brush head could have been a tad bigger and you will not be able to use this in a drill or rotate it like a drain auger. Our dryer duct is made up of a 3' flex pipe connected into five rigid straight pipes. My guess is it had not been cleaned since 1970 when the house was built so it REALLY needed it. The pipes, especially near the dryer were at least 30% clogged with a dense layer of lint all around the inside of the pipe.I did not expect or plan to but just to test I did try pushing the brush through but I found it impossible, even the pipe farthest from the dryer with the least amount of lint. Pulling worked quite good. The task required taking all the pipes apart so be sure you have some aluminum duct tape on hand for reassembly..Each section needed at least 5 passes with the brush and it was impossible to get 100% of the lint. Like I said, the brush could be a tad bigger but it got at least 95% and the dryer does really work better now.I rather thought the metal spring handle might allow rotating the brush head by hand or with a drill. I tried just by hand but it is way too flexible. So perfect its not but it did a good job and was not expensive
