My first Brother printer was ruined by cheap compatible cartridges which leaked so now I only use genuine ink in my replacement printer.These genuine cartridges work perfectly and are long lasting (they are not the OEM cartridges which have less ink). When one is low in ink, just be sure not to replace the cartridge too soon, leave it in until the printer refuses to print anymore.I love my Brother printer too. I once needed to reinstall PaperPort but lost the CD which came with the printer. I emailed Brother and lo and behold, 2 days later the CD showed up in our mailbox. So Brother not only makes great products, they back them up with great service too.I highly recommend these cartridges to everyone, don't take a chance with fake replacements, get the real thing.
