The fuchsia is gorgeous to match with black suits and all shades of blue jackets. Personally I prefer my neckties to have stripes, or at least polka dots, but the uniform color of this "silk blend" has enough of a mild sheen to look elegant, without looking like an overly shiny cheap tie that attracts attention in a bad way.The matching handkerchief is likewise beautiful and classy. Some style guides say that a handkerchief shouldn't be from the same fabric, but I say why not, and in this case it's a necessity: for how would you match to fuchsia other than a plain white handkerchief! The set has a boutonniere, which I like for being from the matching fabric (sometimes they're a close color but different enough that I think the set looks mismatched, and I wind up never wearing the boutonniere).Note that this set doesn't have cufflinks, like others do for a few dollars more. This isn't a factor for me, as I rarely wear included cufflinks since they're almost always silver-tone. I usually wear gold tone with my watches and tie chains, so I want my cufflinks to match.

Tie looks really elegant and is such a bold color! I can't wait to wear it. This says festive and classy and is made well with a soft silk feel!
