my wakit herb grinder fits the opening perfectly so i can dump my ground matter without any falling out. and the quality is excellent!

The authentic product is great & worth the price difference. Amazon sent me one w/ a Lido lid, stamped but the body or jar was inauthentic. They also sent a gasket that does not fit. I asked for a replacement & they went the exact same thing. If you want to pay more money for this wonderful Italian product, don't buy it here. The rep didn't help w/ the issues the warehouse must be having replacing the bogus piece.

lol I'm a cheapskate so I really scoffed at buying one of these brand new. I worked part time at goodwill for extra money and to pass the time for a couple years and I would come across this type of jar fairly frequently. Price at 50 cents to $3 depending on the size, I of course went right to GW when I needed to buy one. OF COURSE, when I needed one, they didn't have them. Went several times and still nothing so I started looking online. It's unreal how much some people are charging for these. This is a great jar that seals tight with zero leakage. If I could buy them somewhere else used and at half the price I would but if new is the only option then these Bormioli Rocco Fido jars are the way to go.

Fido makes the best storage jars, and this wee baby is no exception. I love that you can buy spare gaskets to keep a tight, even seal for years and years into the future. By virtue of the glass, steel and rubber construction, these are BPA free and great for food storage. If you want an economical to store your "bath salts," go cheaper with a plastic container and save these fancy italian jars for foodstuffs.Bear in mind when you're ordering your jars that this is 4 *FLUID* ounces. So, if you buy a four-ounce package of, say, pepper corns, you'll need more like eight fluid ounces of room in your jar. But this super-cute mini size is great for use as a salt cellar, to store loose leaf teas, or any other spices or small items that should be kept safe from air and moisture.
