The unit pumps oil, that all that can be say good about it. It is RIDICULOUSLY noisier than the OEM original Hitachi Pump, which is quiet. This piece of junk makes you think your transmission is coming apart, as that is the only other thing that makes the kind of noise this unit makes, in line with engine RPMs. But it is actually this pile of junk Power Steering Pump. Buy the original OEM Hiatchi (at 5X the price). I tried 2 other designs, all horribly noisy, except the original Hitachi pump. Turns out, there is a reason that pump costs a lot more, its actually quiet, but pumps oil. This thing makes a ridiculous racket, though it does "work". When you consider wasted time and labor, this unit gets a -10 reality score.

I got this new pump 80 dollars cheaper than a reman pump at the auto parts store. New parts are better.
