I tried two different bags and I was sure they were NOT compatible with j5+. It kept saying the bag was missing. Eventually, I tried putting the slider up, inserting it and sliding it back down, and it finally recognized the bag being there! I am glad because the iRobot bags are $20 for three bags plus shipping. So I edited my original review that said they were not compatible with the j5+. It just takes a little finessing the bag, then eventually it worked. Took off one star for that.

These are a great replacement for expensive name brand.

I purchased these for an IRobot Roomba j8. I had some IRobot bags on hand and did not think to compare them, so that's on me, but when I finally tried to use one of these bags it did not fit properly and the red light on the base of the Roomba came on - indicating that the bag was full or not installed. Now I am past the return window and I have 11 of these bags that are useless

Looks, and works just like the name brand but much cheaper.
