I picked up a nice little recurve bow a few months ago, I wanted to get back into archery again. Unfortunately, the bow came in a box and that is how I have been transporting and storing it. I came across this nice carry bag and decided to give it a try. My bow fits perfectly along with all the accessories and attachments I have for it. There is a good-sized pouch on the outside to handle all the loose and small items. The bag opens and lays completely flat which allows access to a great padded work surface to assemble your bow on. It is made of a standard waterproof vinyl fabric, no bells or whistles, but it works. The zippers are smooth and quite so when in the field you can keep most of the noises to a minimum, can't help the flatulent friend standing next to you though. It carries either by top mount handles when going to the range or a shoulder strap for out in the field. My only issue, and it is my issue, is because I have long arms, I shoot long arrows. They do not fit inside the bag, so I either have to carry my quiver, or what I choose, was an "arrow tube". The bag has straps along the bottom that work great for the tube and holds it perfectly. I found that the quiver collects leaves, branches and other debris when hiking through the brush, you also risk damaging your arrows. Where the tube is a little bulkier, but the arrows are completely protected. It is a little more work to get access to your arrows, but I feel it is worth the time. I am not a "go hunting every day" kind of guy, I enjoy the range and practicing my shoot placement, but when my buddies are heading out and I have some free time, I'll grab my bag and climb in the truck with them.
