I have used these jigs for years now and I bought this clamp to replace one that wore out. It appears to have warped in the middle, but it was pretty old and well used. The replacement cost for a clamp is very reasonable and they work great when they are new. The one I got this time did not have the metal plate attached so I glued it with Duco Cement, clamped it overnight and it's ready to go. The jig itself is one I actually prefer over the all mighty "Bitzenberger" fletching jig because it is easier to use and adjust and I like to use 3 jigs at once to get the job done faster fletching a dozen or more arrows. A warning to those new to plastic jigs - be careful cleaning the clamps that you don't cut into the straight edge or damage it so you have to buy a new one. The clamp needs to be tight along the edge to hold onto the fletches really well.
