This is a very nice impact-rated SAE deep socket set. It has the larger sizes up to 1.25". It hasn't started rusting on me yet, so the Cro-Mo coating is good quality.The blow-moulded case is a really nice bonus along with the extensions. I only wish this came with a 1/2" socket wrench, and it would have been the perfect kit.I keep this set with the tractor, as it seems to be more heavy duty than another set that I have from princess-auto.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I just want start by saying that I was pleasantly surprised by this Boen branded Impact Socket Set. This brand had previously not been on my radar at all, so I was very interested in trying this kit out.The sockets in this set are is generally very well made and have a quality look and feel. They all appear to be robust and more than durable enough for its intended use. I appreciate the inclusion of the convenient, durable storage/transport case.In actual use I have found the parts of set to function basically as described and I tried to make back to back comparisons with it using my tried and tested sets of both Craftsman and Kobalt branded Impact Sockets that I have been using for years. In going through sample test exercises, I found that the bits I used performed well and I dont really have any negatives for other than to say that the set contains a mix of CR-V and CR-MO steel bits... with only 4 of the total 14 sockets in the set being the upgraded CR-MO type. I think a set of all CR-MO type steel sockets would have been preferrable.In the end, I have to say that I like this Boen Impact Socket Set. It is decent quality and basically works as described. At the current listing price of $78.20, I feel this is good value for money considering what you are getting here. However, I really honestly cannot comment on the overall long term durability of this set given I have only had a few weeks use with it as of me writing this. I do think this set is more than worthy of being on your list of possible considerations if you happen to be shopping around for an Impact Socket Set. I am giving this a 4 out 5 given the price and observed quality to date. If something drastic happens with one of the bits in my use, I will come back at a later date with an edit to this review.
