I never owned one of these before and I never tried one either so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. My initial thought was this would be flexible and might be bouncy to a degree. It is not, it is very sturdy and stable. It’s not the biggest wheel so you do have to get low to get this to work if you’re performing any type of back stretches. The padding seems pretty adequate and the color is pretty to being purple. It arrived in a nice box too. Very nicely put together considering the price and all. It’s a great buy. Would recommend

After visiting my son and seeing him use one every day to stretch out his sometimes-aching back, particularly after his workouts, I wanted to try one out. He does not do yoga, but he swears by his 'yoga' wheel and says he can feel his back 'settling back in to place.'This can work for when you want to stretch out your back, open up your chest, improve flexibility and balance, etc.Note that this is not made to be bendable or to have any 'give' to it. It does have a soft outer cushion to it to make it more comfortable, but the wheel itself is hard, and it's supposed to be like that.It will remain sturdy on the floor, since the outer cushion is made a bit like a yoga mat, so there's no slipping around. It may feel uncomfortable or awkward at first, so I suggest looking at videos, especially since Body Sport did not provide any images/instruction in the box--it's be better if it were a little wider. If you never have used one of these, or feel any discomfort, you absolutely do not want to hurt your neck or back trying to use this without looking at some instruction. There are, however, instructions to 3 moves included on the Amazon page (I included a screenshot of that).Made in China; distributed from Ohio.Love the blue.

My adult son moved back to Tennessee from Florida to care for me as I have incurable cancer. Ironically, he now has a protruding disc pressing on a nerve and two other bulging discs. All this is causing horrific pain and he is having to rely on the VA Hospital for his treatment. Although very nice and friendly, the care is beyond slow. He has been going for about 6 weeks and will have his first physical therapy treatment in two weeks. That is 8 weeks of waiting. Because of that, we ordered this Body Sport Yoga Wheel for some stretching. He really likes it. Although he lets out some moans, he uses it often. He is a man of very few words, but when I asked him if he liked it he said yes, emphatically. That meant, "it really helps me and I depend on it for some relief." If he really likes it, I know it is an excellent product. I watch him get on and off this wheel and with his problems, I can't imagine how he does it. But, he rolls back and forth on it, very slowly, and seems to get some relief from it. If it helps him with three problem discs, I know this is a wonderful product. I highly recommend it.

This yoga wheel is very sturdy and the padding on it helps a lot. When you use it on your back, it really stretches/cracks your back. However, it's a little hard (which makes it sturdy) so it's not the most comfortable. It's a lot more comfortable when stretching your stomach. If it wasn't hard, I don't think it would work. I'm new to this, but so far, I really like how it stretches my body.

The Body Sport Yoga Wheel is a useful tool to help release tension in your back using your own body weight. The wheel is very similar to a Chirp wheel but at a slightly lower price. It is well made, easy to balance on, and can support up to 330 pounds. I've used foam rollers before, but this one offers a much deeper stretch than the smaller rollers. Additionally, this is the only roller I've used that effectively popped my upper back - I'm not sure if it's the height or design of the wheel, but it gave such a satisfying pop that got my back into alignment that felt great for the rest of the day! There is a small learning curve when trying to get up on a wheel of this height, but there are plenty of videos available that teach you how to use it most effectively. Overall, if you suffer from back pain, this wheel is definitely worth a try.
