Blue Sea Systems ST Blade ATO/ATC Fuse Blocks

ST Blade ATO/ATC fuse blocks consolidate branch circuits and eliminate the tangle of in-line fuses for electronics and other appliances. Their robust design makes them ideal for marine and vehicle DC electrical systems.

All buses and fuse clips are tin plated copper for corrosion resistance and optimal electrical conductivity.

All ST Blade fuse blocks utilize a specialized fuse clip that is designed to hold fuses in place in the harshest conditions.

All fasteners are stainless steel. Screws contain a captive star lock washer for a faster more secure installation. Studs utilize flange nuts for a simpler and safer installation. Fuses sold separately.

Additional Key Features Include:

Ground Bus: For DC negative connections. (5024, 5025, 5030, 5026, 5031, and 5032).

Includes Cover: Easy to open insulating cover that provides access to fuses and satisfies ABYC/ USCG requirements. (5023, 5024, 5045, 5046, 5035, 5025, 5028, 5026, 5029 and 5032).

Independent Source: Each circuit contains an individual feed wire. (5035 and 5037).

Common Source: Single feed wire supplies power to all circuits in the fuse block. (5023, 5024, 5045, 5046, 5025, 5030, 5028, 5033, 5026, 5031, 5029, 5034, and 5032).

Split Bus: Allows two isolated groups of 6 circuits each. (5032 only).

Ignition Protection: Allows for use in a gasoline engine compartment. Meets ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements. (5023, 5024, 5045, and 5046).

Battery Terminal Mount: Fuse block can be mounted directly on the battery terminal stud. (5023 and 5024).

This was the third fuseblock I tried in modifying the inadequate fusing of my 1957 MGA (it's British; what did you expect?). This was far and away the best of the lot -- robust in all respects, solidly mounted, simple. The others were quite wimpy and rattly in comparison. This one has an honest 100 amp copper bus bar and a binding post that can handle whatever you put into it. I liked that it was possible to disassemble and modify it to be more useful to my purposes; viz., I hacksawed the bus bar in order to have two buses, one fed at the post by battery to service a pair of circuits (horn), and then backfeed the (unfused) ignition switch onto the remaining section to power coil, heater blower, fuel pump, etc., that then became individually fused. I like that the fused outputs are via binding posts rather than quick-connect push-ons; those crimped ring wire terminations are not going to fail! And I regard this installation as one that I am not going to change in a long time.Although this is marketed as a marine-application fuseblock, and has something of a cover, I would not rely on its being at all watertight -- but that's just fine for my application and maybe yours. In fact I just deleted the cover entirely for my situation.I am thoroughly enamored of this piece of equipment and am recommending it to others in my MG car club. I will own up to the reason I find myself here... Original wiring of the car had coil and fuel pump unfused. When installing a new fuel line I screwed up and that metal fuel line had residual tension in it that caused it to jump into contact with the hot terminal of the fuel pump. Thus I smoked the wire and had to replace it. But I resolved to put a damn' FUSE into each of the many circuits, and I breathe far more easily now. It's a neat and tidy solution, far more organized than the multiplicity of in-line fuses that was my initial approach.

It's blue sea systems. Worth every dollar. Awesome for a low profile fuse block for 12v systems with little real estate. Will buy again if needed. Blue Sea Systems products will outlive competitors products by many years if installed correctly

Der Verteiler ist sehr hochwertig und robust gebaut. Die Abdeckung hält gut und lässt sich einfach weg bauen.Es ist recht groß, das hatte ich so nicht bedacht. Einen Platz fand ich dennoch.
