I like the mic… it works good. Just plug in and go. The sound quality is really good… worth the money

Se rompió mi anterior micrófono Samson de gama media/baja y decidí dar un salto de precio y calidad. Después de informarme medianamente del tema decidí por este modelo clásico de Blue Yeti. No sé cómo será el modelo más nuevo, pero este que fue la primera edición y tiene una relación calidad precio inmejorable; comprendo que no lo bajen de precio aún haciendo ya varios años que está en el mercado. Yo lo compré en una oferta flash a un buen precio de menos de 100 euros y a día de hoy ya no sabría grabar con otro micrófono de gama inferior.Lo que se refiere al micrófono en si, tiene un precio más que asequible con el que se pueden obtener resultados profesionales, aun contando con una conexión USB lo cual no es nada habitual en micrófonos de tan alta calidad. Su tamaño con la peana es algo grande, de unos 30 centímetros de altura, y su peso con peana incluida debe rondar alrededor de un kilo. El peso del conjunto es considerable pero denota calidad de materiales y una buena construcción con sensación robusta y Premium. No obstante, el hecho del peso no supone ningún inconveniente a la hora de su manejo, pues su tamaño y peso tampoco son desorbitados ya que está pensado para usar con su peana que es reclinable o con un brazo telescópico, eso sí, en el supuesto de necesitar un brazo deberemos utilizar uno relativamente fuerte y que sea compatible con el micrófono que se deberá conectar mediante una rosca hembra que está en la base del micrófono (mirar segunda foto).En cuanto a la grabación, el micrófono consta de una rueda frontal para la ganancia y otra para el modo de grabación de entre cuatro modos seleccionables: estéreo, bidireccional para entrevista, unidireccional para podcast y que no se oiga sonido ambiente, y omnidireccional para que pueda captar todos los sonidos ambientales en 360º, pudiendo conseguir así grabaciones en todo tipo de circunstancias según la necesidad.La calidad de grabación es excelente, y más aún tratándose de un micrófono de este precio. Con una buena ecualización los resultados no tienen nada que envidiar a cualquier otro micrófono mucho más caro de uso profesional. Utilizado para grabar diferentes palos del Flamenco con Guitarra Clásica o Española, Cajón y palmas. Cuándo muestro mis grabaciones a otras personas que no son precisamente neófitas en el mundo de la música se quedan boquiabiertos, literalmente me dicen que si no les hubiera dicho nada habrían pensado que se ha producido en un estudio de grabación profesional. En definitiva, un micrófono altamente recomendable más aún si tienes presupuesto ajustado. No te arrepentirás.

I've only used it a couple of times but it's been great. I have more equipment (mixers etc...) to try it out with, but so far, so good.The white looks great. I don't think the pictures do it justice. White was $40 cheaper and I think it's because the pictures make the white one look cheap but it looks great, sounds great and is super sturdy... I was actually surprised at how heavy it is.It also records in stereo, kinda. Using one of the different functions you'll see the left and right tracks are slightly different as it has three condensers inside that pick up the sound differently based on the position from which the sound emanated. Pretty sweet.Very happy so far.

Lo compré en una oferta hace algunos meses, pero apenas en estos días lo he estado usando y estoy enamorada del micrófono. Es muy bueno, material resistente, se escucha muy bien y es fácil de usar.

Sin duda un excelente microfono, muy facil de usar, elegante en tu escritorio y con una calidad sobresaliente, quiza el unico detalle es la sensibilidad que aun en 10% llega a captar ruidos fuertes, como en mi caso que vivo frente a una calle muy concurrida, sin embargo esto es mas culpa mia, el microfono cumple sus funciones de forma sobresaliente

Es perfecto para muchos tipos de uso , desde locución , grabación de audio y algunos instrumentos.Sus diferentes tipos de captura de sonido lo hacen a un mejor, 3 cápsulas internas que facilitan más las tareas del día a día.La base es muy sólida pero captará algunos sonidos del escritorio , es mejor colocarlo en un codo.Me llegó bien y sin problemas, el color blanco se le ve muy bien.

El producto tiene una calidad increíble de grabación y sonido, ya sea para grabar gameplays, hacer streaming, podcast, grabar música, etc. Sus funciones son increíbles y tiene muy alto rango de calidad.Los contras que puedo darle es que sus botones o perillas de ajustes se sienten de pésima calidad. Se logra sentir que pueden llegar a descomponerse o trabarse muy pronto. Pero fuera de eso, todo es excelente.

Muy bueno, bastante pesado se nota de inmediato la mejora de sonido, más si le pones un filtro pop, lo único que no me agradó es que el botón de volumen lo siento frágil, cómo si bailara, el botón de cambiar la función todo lo contrario está bastante apretado para cambiar, una parte de dónde se engancha para dar vuelta parece rota o pelada, no afecta su función pero, se nota, lo conecte a Windows 10 y lo detecto de inmediato lo usé sin problemas.

Si estas iniciando en grabacion, sonorizacion o en streaming es una buena opcion para comprar. Su relacion calidad-precio lo hace una opcion fiable.Tiene varias opciones de captura de sonido, lo que hace que lo configures de la manera que mas te convenga para la situacion de grabacion que tengas. La calidad del sonido si bien no es la mejor en el mercado, es muy buena para el rango de precio que tiene.

Voy usándolo ya varias semanas únicamente para hacer videos en YouTube hablando.Fue fácil empezar a usarlo, únicamente lo conecté a la Mac, abrí QuickTime y no tuve que hacer más. De todos modos, en el manual aparece el proceso para configurarlo correctamente en menos de 5 minutos.Si es un micrófono bastante potente por lo que es mejor usarlo en un sitio callado porque aunque la ganancia esté en 0 aun se escuchan ruidos alrededor, nada que no se pueda solucionar con algo de edición.Comprar un filtro pop es necesario porque en mi casa la letra P suena bastante fuerte y el filtro pop elimina esto, el que compré costó $180 pesos acá en Amazon.El material es bastante bueno, los botones de buena calidad y se siente pesado el micrófono.El cable es bastante largo (creo que 3 metros) lo cual lo hace muy cómodo.El poder escucharte a ti mismo conforme hablas de forma automática sin ningún retraso también ayuda bastante.Si apenas están empezando lo recomiendo totalmente, si lo quieren para algo más profesional también lo recomiendo.

I bought the Yeti to initialize my beginner/intermediate streaming setup. I also considered buying RODE, Audiotechnica, Shure, and more, but I ultimately went with the Yeti because of its stellar reputation and plug and play simplicity. Reviewers often say it takes a lot of work to make the Yeti sound good. This is true compared to your average gaming headset, but the sound quality improvements are SO rewarding. Frankly, it's less of a barrier than you might think. With a little tinkering and research, I found it to be quite easy.Why Yeti and not Yeti Pro or something more intense? The truth is, no matter how good you sound through your system, the platform you utilize will downgrade the quality of your mic. For example, you may sound amazing on your own recording program but then mediocre on YouTube because it compresses your raw audio to fit within a certain khz threshold. You WILL sound better, but there's a point of diminishing returns. I think the price point of the Yeti is among the most competitive for what it offers.•• That's nice, but how does it SOUND? ••Amazing. It sounds amazing. Rich, warm, and robust are the words I choose. I went from using the microphone on my Logitech G35 to the Yeti. The difference is night and day. My wife's Sennheiser PC 350 mic also sounds thoroughly meh in comparison. To test, I recorded all in Audacity (free audio editing software). I've used "cheap" mics for years and years, and I just didn't think it made that much of a difference. Honestly, I was shocked how flat and robotic the gaming headset mics sounded compared to the Yeti. And keep in mind, these are $100+ headsets. However, you need to make certain considerations. Condenser mics pick up all sorts of sounds. Obviously, a room with muted acoustics is best. I don't have the best acoustics in my living room, but it still sounds awesome. I think this is largely due to my accessories that limit vibrations and movement, but it's also because of my placement (I'll go over my chosen accessories in a later section). I keep the Yeti a comfortable 6-12 inches from my face on Cardioid mode. Cardioid mode is what you'll likely use, as it captures sound from the area roughly in front of the mic.••Speaking of Cardioid... Where Do I Speak? Into The Top? ••You might think speaking directly into the top of the mic is correct, but you'd be dead wrong. Instead, you want the mic pointed mainly up or down (I have it down in my setup) with the side of the mic facing you. You can likely see in my picture, but there are many Youtube videos showing how to properly use the Blue Yeti. If you're at all confused, google it, and I promise you'll have it sorted without too much difficulty.•• Setup and Accessories ••Overall, I didn't find the setup that difficult, but I'll admit that's likely because I packaged it with most of its expensive accompaniments (, , and .My reasoning for the gear I picked was that I didn't want to mess around with customized adapters. I wanted things that simply worked together, so I paid a premium for them. However, they're all great accessories. The RODE PSA-1 doesn't move around at all. I can shove it out of my way after using, and it's perfectly fine. It's stupid easy to install, and I'm definitely glad I didn't mess around with a cheap arm. The RADIUS II shock mount nullifies vibrations from my mechanical keyboard, rambunctious cats, and all sorts of baby rage. Yes, it's expensive, but I purchased it because I live in a place where vibrations were guaranteed. If you don't have that problem, you may not need it. The pop filter was the only area I cheaped out on, and I think I got the best of the cheapies. The Nady does not sag or move at all, installs easily, and it does its pop filtery job perfectly.•• Tips for Setup - Settings, etc ••If you further research this mic, you'll learn that fiddling with settings is necessary in order to make it sound great over every medium. For example, I had to do a bit of extra work in Discord because my gain settings were messed up. I was cutting in and out, even though it was being picked up flawlessly in Audacity and OBS. Speaking of Audacity, I highly recommend downloading it. You can record yourself at your leisure to understand exactly how you sound coming out of Windows.I was watching YouTube tutorials from 2014 and 2015 that were all saying, "YOU HAVE TO TURN DOWN THE GAIN IN WINDOWS," which is done by right clicking your sound device in your task bar, choosing recording device, right clicking into properties, and changing your levels. So I turned the Windows gain down right away, and surprise surprise, I was having issues with the mic being picked up. While that may have been needed in earlier versions of Windows, I suspect it's unnecessary on Windows 10. Regardless, what I did was leave the Windows gain at 100. I reduced the gain on the microphone's physical nob to somewhere between 25-35%. That's an estimation based on position. The point is, fiddle with it until you're not BLAAAAAHRRRR fog horn loud and you're not robotic. It doesn't take much experimentation to find a happy medium. If my recommendations don't work, there are SO many educational sources within googling distance, you'll definitely find a setup that works for you.Specifically regarding Discord, I found the best results came from disabling the "Automatically determine sensitivity." Set it manually. It'll record you with pristine accuracy.•• Is an Equalizer Necessary? ••I personally like the raw output of the Yeti given my particular acoustic situation, but there are free software equalizers you can use to enhance almost every facet of your sound - particularly in capturing or pushing bass. One such program is called Voicemeeter. Amazon hates links, so I'll drop a link to a YouTube tutorial in this review's comments that goes over installation and setup. The YouTube fella might be a bit... intense, but he walks you through a simple way to enhance your sound. Once you've got it installed, I recommend messing around with it. Never take someone's settings as gospel. Again, Audacity is a huge benefit here.•• Quick Note on Price ••Consider that the price drops frequently on different colors. I went with Space Gray because it dropped to $129.99. Shop around, and you won't have to pay $150+.•• Conclusion ••I love the Yeti. I did a lot of research before buying it. I made sure every piece played nicely together. When I got all the parts, I simply put them together, plugged it all in, and boom... away I went. It took a few days to get the sound exactly where I'd like, so consider that you'll be tinkering with it for a bit. Either way, it's significantly better than what I had before. I still love it. Zero issues. The Rode boom arm I talked about earlier is the absolute champion of my setup. I couldn't recommend it more. It hasn't moved in a year, and I only have it clamp mounted, not screw mounted, onto my desk. Countless streamers I watch use it, and I keep seeing it on TV shows when people are podcasting or doing radio shows. It's literally the boom arm they use in Trish Talk in Marvel's "Daredevil", and I've seen it pop up countless other places.05/31/2020: Rode arm literally HAS NOT MOVED in 3 years with zero adjustments. Worth its weight in gold. The Yeti still crushes, and I'm triply happy.

Desde hace un par de años me he dedicado a grabar entrevistas y podcasts para YouTube y tenía un micro caserito de los que venden baratos. Obviamente, el zumbido y la mala calidad al grabar era un tema que frecuentemente me reclamaban los que escuchaban los podcasts. Me puse a ahorrar para un micro más profesional, sin llegar a ser de estudio de grabación. El Yeti fue el más recomendado cuando estuve buscando referencias.Ayer me llegó y superó mis expectativas!! mucho más grande de lo que esperaba, de material resistente y pesado, muy bonito e imponente. Sencillo de instalar, estético y una diferencia en la claridad de la grabación impresionante, no necesité siquiera ponerle filtro. Dormí con una sonrisa por haber recibido mi micrófono Yeti!

I have had this mic now for just over a week, I love it so far and I like it enough to have gotten rid of my old headset and replaced it with a much better set of headphones, however I will say I basically only use Cardiod as it sounds better for my uses, so I cant say much about the other modes, the cost of the mic is likely more than a lot of people will feel comfortable with and I myself don't feel entirely comfortable with how much I spent on the mic, but quality costs money so I can not complain.may be worth mentioning since I received the mic I have been using the mic with a stand and pop filter from right near the start so I only used the mic in it default stand for a day.Pros:-The sound Quality is better than anything I have used-Multiple mic modes [Stereo] [Cardioid] [Omnidirectional] [bi-directional]-It is easy to adjust gain and mic volume along with changing the active mic mode-Real time voice feedback from the mic port on the yeti-Plug and playCons:-when using the default mic stand it pics up a fair bit of noise (I have a mechanical keyboard so it picked up more than I want it to) but this can be easily resolved by buying a mic boom-picks up a lot of background noise when you turn up the gain too high (can be avoided fairly easily by not turning up the gain past 60%)
