I purchased this on impulse for my friend's mom, whom I have called "my other mother." In the 70s, we'd have 4 kids in the backseat and two adults in the front as we tooled around in our beloved "George."I wasn't expecting much due to the low price, so I was impressed with the quality. This is a (relatively) heavy-duty, sturdy toy. The color is a perfect match to George. Much to our delight, the little doors even open. As a gift to reminisce, this was a hit!

After reviews I was worried this would be tiny, like a match box car but it actually was the perfect size for little 3 year old hands. The metal body is nice but the plastic "chrome" trim is pretty junky and after less than 24 hours of owning it the front bumper is broken and while I was able to get the hood chrome back down that had popped off as well. The doors do open and the boy still likes it but it'd be nicer if the trim wasn't so crummy.
