This versatile cover is awesome for taking baby on the go. I have used it both as a nursing cover, and to cover baby in the car seat. This is a light muslin that breaths well but still offers protection from light and some weather. I also like that there is a strip of plastic by the halter strap that allows the cover to drape out a little further, and you can see baby when you are using it as a BF cover. Great value, great design.

I'm the type of person that loves multi-function baby items. This car seat cover is perfect for my needs, converting to a coverall for breastfeeding is a plus! I love how it has the older school ones so you can see down instead of feeling closterphobic with the tight ones they sell all over now. This fabric is my favorite too - breathable, soft, & love the sage green color.

This is a nice cover. While it is not light tight, that isn't it's purpose.

I have previously only used the stretchy kinds of covers that market themselves for both the car seat and nursing, and I always find them overly constricting to wear, and stressful from an overheating perspective on the car seat. This cover is a really nice find as it is a much more thoughtfully designed 2-in-1. It easily attaches around your neck for some privacy (or removal of distractions) while nursing baby, but you can still see baby due to the curved neckline. What makes it different from other apron style nursing covers that I have is the additional snaps to secure it to the car seat handle making for a secure fit for shade and privacy there too. The muslin is soft and breathable so less overheating risk but it does provide some nice protection from the sun and strangers too close! This is a handy product to keep on hand for out and about as a new parent. I would recommend.
