Fácil de usar. Tener cuidado con el ajuste de giro de la lija pues llega a limar la carcasa de plástico. Verificar con frecuencia

So first off. I've never used a belt sander before. In the pics this is a 30+ year old bench built by my grandfather. Just sitting on it and you got seven splinters. I decided to take apart, rebuild, and stain. So for the first run... belt was flying all over the place. Complete fail. However! You have to take time. Read instructions. Turn unit over, set, and adjust the dial. The dial adjustments are actually quite small. A quarter inch turn, turned out perfect. It is very important to get this set FIRST! After figuring this out was flawless. Ran like a champ. Removed dust bag as this volume of dust was ridiculous. Overall best idea ever, super affordable, and worked like a dream. Highly recommended. Just take the time and learn how to adjust the lock the belt.Cheers and good luck!

Disculpen,si la banda de lija se sale cuando se prende la lijadora, como se resueleve o cual es la indicación?, O es defecto de fabrica para devolverla

So I have owned many belt sanders in my day. In fact, I have 3 others presently when I decided to buy this one. The primary reason for this purchase was this sanders' large front space in front of the handle to be able to get under railings. My project is sanding a deck with existing vinyl railings that none of the other sanders could get under. So this seemed like a perfect solution.I got the sander and put it right to work. I paid attention to the front wheel and adjustment as many reviews here complained that it was badly engineered and the belt kept coming off. I completed about 150 feet of edging, under railings and along the house on this deck and the belt acted exactly as you would expect; if you push in one direction it will move in the opposite direction. In other words, if I am pushing down on the front of the machine and I slide the machine to the left, the belt will want to move to the right. It isn't an engineering issue, its physics.Anyway, great product. Did exactly what I wanted it to do and solved a great problem because of the unique design. Well done B&D.

Compré esto en noviembre de 2020, lo usé muy ocasionalmente hasta hace poco y se detuvo en seco después de hacer un ruido horrible. Tenía un par de meses fuera de garantía, así que lo abrí (soy ingeniero electrónico de profesión).Resultó que el cojinete del lado de la correa de transmisión se había destruido y, en el proceso, se había calentado y derretido la carcasa de plástico, lo que significaba que el eje se movía de tal manera que la armadura del motor estaba tocando los devanados. Muerte instantanea. Bastante decepcionante ya que el resto de la unidad se puede reparar. Pero ahora se tirará a la basura ya que el rodamiento no se puede reemplazar porque el plástico está deformado (incluso si pudiera conseguir uno).NOTA: Esta unidad es una de varias disponibles con diferentes marcas (p. ej., Craftsman tiene una casi idéntica), por lo que es probable que todas tengan el mismo problema. Mi consejo es que lo compres, ¡si te atreves! - justo cuando realmente necesita usarlo, por lo que si explota, estará dentro del período de garantía. O compre algo un poco más robusto. Un desperdicio.

I had to sand down a 1000 square foot deck and this sander exceeded my expectations. I thought that I wanted a 4" wide sander but I don't think that a bigger and higher voltage sander would have been better.This was enough for me to handle. The narrow front allowed me to get under the railings. The narrow width allowed me to sand the risers on the stairs.If you are painting a deck, I highly recommend getting a Shur Line 7" Pad. I've always been old school and used a paintbrush, but the pad saved time and you no longer need to be on your knees. After doing the sanding you will appreciate being on your feet. Used a brush on a pole to do the cracks and went back over with pad... Fraction of the time spent and a better final finish as there are no brush marks.Changing the sandpaper was easy, there is a little knob to adjust the alignment from side to side.I will see how long this sander lasts.

This is a very efficient belt sander. The grips and adjustable front grip is a good feature. I recently thought I’d have to replace it because the unit stopped collecting the dust into the dust bag. It was leaving all the saw dust residue on my work piece and on the floor.I proceeded to take the unit apart and discovered that there was a piece of plastic that was sucked up into the intake port which was causing the clog.I removed the clog, blasted the area with my air compressor and put it all back together. I turned the unit on and to my supiese the dust bag inflated! Repaired and running just fine again.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the oblong dust port opening does not facilitate connecting it to a vacuum hose.NOTE: if you own of of these and it clogs, just run a wire such a some braided pipe cleaners through it to clear the clog. Something I didn’t think of till AFTER performing open heart surgery on the unit.

La calidad es excelente, y el precio, simplemente no pude encontrar otro mejor. Viene con una banda de lija de grano 60, que no recomiendo utilizar en madera a menos que se requiera realizar un desbaste tremendamente agresivo, de otra forma, utilizar bandas de grano 80 para desbastar y grano 120 para dar un acabado semi-final. Regresando a la revision del producto, recomiendo ampliamente esta compra dado que es un producto de una alta calidad y el precio es inmejorable en mi opinion.
