Love this note book.Its pocket size that fits in my 5.11 shirt pocket. Good paper and lined and like the elastic band closure. for me its perfect but each to their own. I did move onto this after I could no longer get a previous notebook I had used but so far happy with it.

The quality of the paper is exceptional. At first I thought I wouldn’t dig the “softcover” feel of this, but it’s totally sturdy. Got a pocket, too. Only wish it had a ribbon bookmark.

Red is an awesome color. Not too girly by any means. Was one of my worries. When I got it "holy cow look at this little thing" I didnt really imagine it being this small and didnt really focus on measurements. But its awesome Keeping for sure. May get a bigger one too. Very happy ..have yet to fully open to pages but it just looks so damn good how it is. Will use it in the coming days Im sure inside wont change the way I feel. Hardcover binding.. GREAT. Texture of cover GREAT. Any questions. ask. Would refer to other people for sure. Wish I was a spokesperson. haha Black and Red are my favorite colors too. Bought a big note book in staples at one point a long time ago. loved it. was higher in price then as well as now but price worthiness all depends on consumer. I dont mind it. How often can you get a hard cover notebook..... with rubber band closure.....of this quality.

I'm going to use this as a bullet journal. I have next year all set up and it works perfectly; great size (not too big and not too small) and the paper is smooth as butter. I've not tried fountain pens on it but my brush markers don't bleed through and have no feathering or show through on the back. Great notebook and I recommend to everyone who bullet journals.The only thing I could say that's "bad" about it is that there's no ribbon bookmark. I'm not taking a star off because I'm using it in a cover I got from Jetpens (Lihit Lab Smart Fit Cover - A5 Navy) which has two ribbon bookmarks in it that work perfectly.
