Bagel and Frozen Functions
Lighted function buttons simplify special toasting jobs. The bagel function produces a toasted bagel top while warming the bottom. Just make sure the top of the bagel is facing the inside of the toaster. The frozen function defrosts and lightly toasts frozen waffles and breads. There is also a cancel button that will end any function and pop-up whatever you are toasting.

100% satisfied. Very fast toaster. I prefer the texture to the slow toaster, which produced a dryer toast. This one leaves bread crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Mamavation lists this model in their top recommended toaster with no PFSAs, lead, or other nasties that could contaminate your food. Really pleased. Only 1 minor issue: it does get very hot on the top surface, so not ideal if you have little ones around. Not an issue for us.

I recently replaced my overpriced, underperforming toaster with the BLACK+DECKER Rapid Toast 2-Slice Toaster, and what a difference! This little toaster lives up to its name – it's incredibly fast. It did take a few tries to find the sweet spot on the dial for my preferred level of toastiness, but once I figured it out, I've been enjoying perfectly golden-brown toast every morning.What I love most is how it toasts bagels. The outside gets perfectly crisp and crunchy, while the inside stays soft and chewy. Honestly, there's simply no comparison between this affordable gem and my previous "fancy" toaster. If you're looking for a quick and efficient toaster that delivers delicious results, look no further!

This is a nice fast toaster. We struggled to find a toaster that was 1000 watts or over that wasn't 4 slice. This is 1200 watts. It looks great. A little bit of plastic smell the first 2-3 uses but then gone. The one thing I notice is that the top of the slice toasts more than the bottom but it's still a nice toasting. Would buy this again. Not a bad price. Fast ship.

It's a solid toaster that toasts bread and bagels super fast. It looks nice on your counter. It's extremely efficient. The toast tastes good.I can personally guarantee anyone who reviewed this and complained that it burned their toast or 'set the toaster on fire' bought the toaster without understanding what it does, plugged it in without reading any of the instructions, cranked the dial all the way up to 10, slapped some bread in there, and expected some dark toast in 4 to 5 minutes. That's not how this thing works.You should have this on 4 at MOST, (unless you're defrosting a waffle or something) - you can run it twice at 3-4 and get perfect toast and it'd still take 1/4 of the time of a regular toaster. If you're doing something like a pop tart you can probably go with like, 2.Only advice I have past that is to not touch it after it's been used because it DOES get insanely hot after a single use - and the first time you use it it will emit a weird smell, but it's gone completely after the first use. Sacrifice a piece of bread if you're worried, but honestly the toast tasted fine to me, so you'd probably be okay.TLDR; the people complaining about this thing are using it like a regular toaster instead of a high-powered toasting monster

Shopping for toasters online on amazon i've quickly learned that a lot of people are crazy fussy about their toast lol.I'm not usually a fan of B&D appliances as i've simply never had a good experience with them. But my girlfriend bought one of these and i just fell in love with it, it has all the right features, toasts very quickly and evenly, looks fantastic and self-centers the toast to ensure even toasting. i really can't ask for more. for the price, this is a steal.
