Was undecided about this accessory for the SpotClean machine what a difference really worth getting makes life easier. Great little machine really does make a difference on stubbon stains, well worth the money great addition to the SpotClean machine

I just got this and I'm really impressed. It is a very ingenious design! I was curious as to how you would make the rotor brush turn with enough torque to do any good without electricity. (Which you wouldn't want with water) Here is how it works, it has two modes, rotor brush, or suction. A large slider switch closes off either the suction through the nozzle or the turbine on the side. I’m using this with the almost 6 amp SpotClean Pro™ 3624 so there is a fair amount of suction to work with. That being said, the torque on the brush was extremely powerful. It did not spin as fast as a beater brush on a standard floor vacuum, but to me the speed was perfect. You don't want it spinning fast matting the fiber and throwing water all over the place. You want deep slow massaging which is just what you get. You pull the trigger expelling cleaning solution into the brush cleaning cavity and just move the head over the stain. When you are satisfied with the amount of solution, you continue brush and massage the carpet. No matter how much pressure I put on the head, I could not stop or even slow down the rotor brush. When I was satisfied with my brushing and massaging of the area, I flip the slid switch to suction in which case the rotor brush stops and pure suction turns on. You suck up the solution and the stain, in most cases, is gone. I removed stains that I had just gone over with the SpotClean Pro standard accessories the day before. In fact, I removed stains that I have been working on for years.Bottom line is that it works better than I could imagine. I love it would not even consider not having it at twice the price.
