The counter sinking in the hinges is not sufficiently deep to allow recessing of bolt heads. Consequently hinge can not fold flush on to itself.

I was a bit concerned because I used tempered glass to create doors and I was afraid that these would have trouble holding the doors in a consistent place with the weight. I did initially switch to M4 screws that recessed perfectly (these are M5) but I decided M5 might serve me better. Yes, they are not flush because they are oversized for the countersink of the hinge. But, I have left my enclosure doors open (each weighs a couple pounds) and they hold very well with M5. I did end up using my own T nuts that allowed a retrofit. No issues using 2 for a ~12"x22" door with 2020 extrusion and tempered glass recessed into the extrusion.
