I have these installed in the rear, along with the 5100 struts on the front of my 12' Titan. They perform well, and handle heavier loads nicely, they are quite good at absorbing large bumps in the road. I would say if you paired them with either some Roadmaster Active Suspension helper springs or a sway bar in the rear it would likely be a good combo.I think there are better REAR shocks out there for Titan's for MORE money, but these hit a good VALUEpoint while still being lightyears better than the stock stuff. They kick the crap out of Rancho's.I have noticed some sweating around the tube -of one of them on my truck, at 2 months old and rather mild service. I am keeping an eye on it incase it turns into a leaky shock situation.

Installed pair in my 2005 NISSAN TITAN LE CREWCAB shortbox; I had pair of BILSTEINs in before but different model. The shocks give the truck a nice firm ride and its feels stable, level, and, generally even in the curves and turns etc.How can you not recommend BILSTEIN; they are just a quality product and they deliver.

I was a little apprehensive about buying this knowing that I would be lifting the rear of my 2014 Titan 4" and Bilstein's product catalog stating it was appropriate for 0" to 1" of lift. Based on other vehicle forums, I decided I could live with any limitations on my 2WD since I mainly drive on pavement, but tow occasionally on dirt.My own measurements show that this Bilstein model is exactly 2" longer at full extension than the OEM shock I pulled off my Titan - which initially caused me to worry before installing.....But it turns out that it doesn't matter for my application! I used an add-a-leaf kit from Heavy Metal Suspensions between the factory leaf pack and the overload spring to gain 2", then stuck a 2" aluminum block under that for a total of 4" of lift in the rear. Hooked everything back up and gave it a test drive on pavement and offroad.I experience ZERO clunking or topping out of the shock and I have taken my very capable 2WD out on rutted dirt trails. Everyday driving also is silent as well, and as for the ride? It's PERFECT and I love how the truck feels now. Even if you don't lift the truck, I would recommend these for replacements for everyday drivers. I have yet to tow with them yet, but if a problem arises, then I will update this review.I also changed the front OEM shocks to the 5100 ride adjustable and I'm only wishing that I had done it sooner. I highly recommend these shocks! If you read some other forums or specialty Nissan lift stores you will see that modification is needed to the bushing to fit, however my 2014 Titan did not require any modification and I was able to do a direct swap on the truck (maybe older models require this?).

Replaced the stock rear stocks on my '09 Titan with these. Love them. Did the job myself - no problems. I loved that the shocks came 'semi compressed' with a strap band around them so that their initial length was exactly what they needed to be during installation. Got them installed and then removed the strap. We instantly noticed a better ride; plus the squeaking from the old shocks was gone!

Bought for a 2008 Nissan Titan Pro-4X, standard ride height, at 80,000 miles.I had my local mechanic install them for me.The truck rides nice. Its like a new ride! The handling is A LOT better. Going over small bumps like the metal track that the housing community gates ride on used to jar and rattle the truck. Now its just a smooth bump. Going over uneven road transitions used the have the truck bobbing up and down for another 50-100 feet, now it just adjusts easily and seamlessly. The ride is both firmer and smoother. You cannot go wrong. I love these shocks. they are more than some cheap monroes but they are very very nice and should last longer.Edit, Amazon sent me some beat-up open boxes covered in saran wrap which really concerned me. But the mechanic had everything he needed and the install went well as the shocks were still unused and all the hardware needed is already on the truck. Note to Amazon, best to put these in a box for shipping as the manufacturer did not package them to go through shipping very well.
