They seal much better than Sharpie and last much longer as a result. The Sharpie does have a better quality line but not by much. I always buy from local stores though.

I have one that is used infrequently, found in my junk drawer. I wasn't sure if it would be dried out because as stated it maybe is used once a year, if that. It worked perfectly, just like new. I would hazard a guess that this particular felt is very close to 15 years old.. I was so impressed that I started thinking that these may become unavailable at some point and I would be tasked with finding something else comparable once this eventually stopped working. 12 felts are over kill for my personal use but I decided to share my experience and;I work in an industry where the staff use sharpies daily, fiddling with the cap and drying out quickly, is an ongoing problem. Based on my personal experiences I decided to order an entire box to see how they work in that environment. The reason for the 4 stars is because the box of 12 arrived as a box of 11. Will update once I get feedback from shop personnel.Update: just spoke with Ren from Amazon got refund for missing felt. Excellent customer service...4stars to 5

Product is generally great, but the clicking mechanism can be improved. There is always a slight hitch when I click the pen. But its still value for money nonetheless

The marker lasts a long time, but I wish the red was a little more deeper in color.

I like not having to take a cap off every time I want to use the marker. I give one to reach service man and they date everything they install new in the rentals. That way there is never a question of how old the item is. I bought both red and black, I liked them so well.
