So, I’ve purchased two heated mattress pads in the past, but I never had the courage to use them since they weren’t made in the USA, and because I didn’t want to wake up with a burnt back (heaven forbid) — until Beurer’s UWB70 Heated Mattress Pad Queen, Dual Control Electric Mattress Cover with Separate Feet/Body Heat, Auto Shut Off, 9 Warming Levels, Overheat Protection, and Soft Quilted Fabric, 60" x 80". While this isn’t made in the USA either, but this is German engineering. I put my faith and trust in anything designed or assembled for Germany, as I’ve always believed in the quality of their products. They don’t mess around when it comes to safety, craftsmanship, and quality. Every single thing so far, that I’ve gotten from Germany are superior in quality and perfectly made down to the last details. That said, I immediately unpacked this mattress heat pad upon arrival and put it in the wash as I’m prone to allergic reactions to certain fabrics and chemicals. So just to be safe, since this is washable, I washed it right away in normal cycle, normal spin, and medium high heat. To my surprise, this came out from the washing machine and dryer, smelling clean and intact. I used it right away, that same night, and my oh my, I literally no longer wanna get out of bed each morning! 🤭 It is that comfortable! I was lucky enough to enjoy this while there are still some colder nights left in the year… I’m so happy to be able to say goodbye to wearing socks at night! Where has this been all my life? I cannot wait for summer time to turn down the AC and get under my comforter and warm heat pad, and sleep in total comfort and relaxation at night… 🤭😍As for the heat pad itself, this is definitely a luxurious and practical upgrade for cold nights. This also works great to relieve back pain symptoms. The dual control feature allows each side of the bed to have its own heat setting, which is a plus as not everyone wants to sleep on heated pad at all times. The separate feet/body heating zones add extra comfort and awesome to have, especially for me, being that I tend to have cold feet syndrome. This allows me to turn on the feet zone only and not necessarily the body portion for a warmer feet environment. With nine warming levels and an auto shut-off function, this heated bed pad offers customizable warmth and safety. The overheat protection gives me peace of mind, knowing that it will auto shut off once it gets to a certain temperature. Although, some may find the controls to take a little time to get used to. Other than that, this also fits my Queen size bed perfectly, easy to use, and easy to keep clean. My only complaint is the comfort level of the quilted fabric, which has wires built-in. With it alone underneath a bed sheet, it isn’t very comfortable to lay down in, as the wires digs into my back. Fortunately, we have a super soft with excellent back support quilted foam pillow top, which has about 1” or less thickness foam, and that did the trick as it’s thin enough for the heat to still penetrate.Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed heated mattress pad, which is perfect for a warm and for a restful night sleep from a trusted brand, Beurer, from Germany. Exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this unit. Now there is one minor thing, I wish the connectors were located to fit on the side of the mattress as I like to lay on the edge of the bed and my arm hits it, so I have to move inward on the bed. But, the heat settings are incredible

We've used small heating pads before, but one for the entire mattress...this is amazing. It's a nice gentle heat with a lot of settings. You can heat the top or bottom for head or feet, or the entire pad. Each side of the mattress has its own controller so your spouse can choose what they want and you can choose what you want. There are 9 different heat settings as well.

The is a comfortable, warm and highly functional heated mattress pad. My wife and I have very different settings but each of us use the extra heat in the footbed to help relieve some soreness in our ankles, effectively you can use this pad for pain relief.The pad itself is fairly thick adding some extra padding to your mattress. The controls allow a HUGE level of variance. It can be just a little warm to screamin warm. The lighted controller units (yes, the lights go out quickly) are easy to use with just four buttons. One for turning on and off, the second for setting the hours from 1 to 9 and the other two control the upper body heat level and footbed level.My ONLY complaint..... the electrical interface, where the cord attaches to the pad, is located in a really weird place. See photos. It is located at the upper belly level and right on top of the pad several inches in from the edge. In our case, we ordered a King (near future purchase) and are using it on a Queen bed. Unbeknownst to us, this worked out really well. Since the pad is oversized, the connectors are over the bed's edge and out of our way. But if we had the right size, it would be an issue since you will be laying on the connector itself.With all that said......... We both LOVE this mattress pad and will never go back to a "substandard" unit again.Even with the connector issue.......... Highly Recommended.

I got this for our airbed when we travel. Airbeds are usually quite chilly, even in the summer, because the large volume of air beneath you wicks away heat. Not anymore! This two-side, dual-zone mattress pad works great. The heat is soft/gentle and it offers several levels from low to quite-warm. I also found that it soothed some of my low back pain from traveling. It is sized perfectly for our queen-size air mattress and the corner pockets are plenty deep. The remotes are intuitive and it's nice to have both two independent sides (my wife sleeps colder than I do and needs more heat) AND dual zones (feet vs. body). This should hold up well over time, especially with our less-frequent use on a travel airbed.So, why only four stars and not five? The plug design for the controls... There are fairly large plugs that you must connect for each control, one per side. They're located right around shoulder height and are in around six inches from the edge, rather than dangling over the side. So, it's pretty easy to roll onto one or to lay your arm across one in the night. In the first night of use, I flopped some part or other of my body onto this large, hard plastic bump at least 3-4 times. I wish they had figured out a way to keep the entire sleeping surface free of the connection, rather than implementing it as is. If they had done that, this would be a five star product.
