I did not know what extra meant but this yarn is nice and for those that do not know the difference it is bigger than baby blanket but smaller than the really thick yarn you use your hands for. Hope this helps people out that were like me

Swift arrival. I'm a novice, didn't realize how thick it would be so that's on me. Colour was as expected. A photo of the yarn being held to give scale would've been helpful.
