These are great for spring/autumn over a t shirt or as a midlayer in the winter. After the first wash I find that they lose some of their soft touch/fluffy exterior.The M fits me well and is nice to wear inside the house while working from home in the winter. The interactive in the title means that they can be zipped inside Berghaus's 'interactive' coats/goretex jackets.As with any lightweight fleece, a cold winter wind can go through them if you have no outer layer, however for the weight I am very happy with these fleeces.

The jacket arrived safely, and it comes neatly packed with tags attached inside a clear bag. The fabric is 100% polyester and it’s made in Vietnam.The overall quality of the jacket is nothing short of excellent and I like the smart casual design of it. Both the inside and outside fleece material is super soft, the stitching is expertly done throughout, the zips are smooth to operate, and in general is a nicely designed jacket.I chose a size medium which is my usual size and I’m pleased to say it fits really well. The jacket is quite slim fitting, comes down to the correct height around my waist, the arms are the ideal length and in general it’s a nice fit.The fleece is very lightweight and quite thin, so while it won’t keep you very warm in cold winter weather its perfect for everything else as you won’t overheat if you wear it indoors like if you’re going shopping or for a coffee, etc. The full-length zip is nice as well, as you don’t have to pull it over your head if you need to take it off. The waist and cuffs are elasticated and provide a small amount of stretch and in general it’s a very flexible jacket that moves around with you which really helps with comfort!There are no inside pockets, but you do get a decent sized zipped pocket on the chest and two large, zipped pockets on the front which can easily accommodate the largest of smartphones as well as other extra items.The jacket can be washed on a 30 degree C setting but not tumble dried or ironed. It’s been washed once so far and apart from losing its initial super soft new feel it still remains cosy and soft.Overall, I think this is a great looking, comfortable, and high-quality fleece jacket that fits really well and is perfect for wearing out to just about anywhere. The price is higher than a lot of other similar brands/jackets, but you definitely get what you pay for with this one from Berghaus and it should last for a long time if properly looked after.It’s a product I would purchase myself so I’m more than happy to recommend it, and I feel it’s worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

My partner was really excited for this fleece as he loves Berghaus. He's an active cyclist (and forager) so spends a lot of time outdoors, and wanted a good fleece to keep him cosy under his waterproof. And this ticks all the boxes.Pros:• Lightweight• incredibly warm• Fitted, but not tight• Pockets and elasticated wrist bandsCons:• NoneThe thing that strikes you first about the fleece really is how good it looks. It's two-toned, so the material is different at the top, and it's fleecey at the bottom, and this makes it look super smart. The Berghaus logo is snazzy, and generally the whole thing looks good.After that really it's pure comfort and warmth. It's a nice lightweight material which is breathable yet somehow retains all heat and keeps you the perfect temperature - again, without causing you to sweat, even if you have this underneath a good waterproof. It adds no bulk at all and it's amazing how good it is for the elements given how thin it is compared to other clothing.It has 3 exterior pockets which are all good sizes and can fit things like your keys, a wallet or a phone, and there is a netted pocket inside the jumper which is handy.The elasticated wristbands sit comfortably and keep the sleeves extended and you can put them over your hands too if you want some extra cover. The central zip goes up to your chin to keep your neck protected, and it sits in a convenient place so there's no rubbing or awkwardness.Like all fleeces, it attracts fluff and fur, but it can easily be brushed off - but it does show on black!Overall, this is a fantastic fleece. We've washed it a couple of times now on 30 and there's been no loss to softness or quality and generally it's just excellent. It's true to size too and fits my 6 foot partner well, and has been great for everyday outdoors wear - plus it's super flattering too.For a high quality fleece, if you want to spend good money on something that will last and actually does what they say, this is a great choice.

This is a lightweight fleece that despite it's weight provides good warmth. There's a number of pockets, 3-zipped on the outside and 1 inner mesh.It's a little longer on the arms than i would like but not by much, not something i'm overly concerned about.It feels soft and fleecy, quite comfortable and the quality is spot on. There's no miss-stitching or loose threads to be seen.It is a branded item and therfore you pay a little extra for that but at £81 for a lightweight fleece. It does feel a little steep.The quality does speak for itself though and if price is not a problem then i would recommend this.
