I needed a replacement for the poorly designed Mission hat I was wearing. That hat has a very flimsy bill that makes it completely useless if there is the slightest breeze.This hat works out so much better. The brim is just sturdy enough to hold its shape in the wind. Now with a strong enough wind I am not sure. I will update this review if that becomes a problem.I wear a M/L in fitted hats and this is plenty large enough. It has a pull cord adjustment to make it tighter around your head just in case it’s too big. The draw cord for the chin is removable which could be useful if not wearing on a windy day. There is a push button style toggle on the chin cord to allow for easy adjustments. There are large vents around the top for air flow.Overall this is a great hat for me for working outdoors and going on walks to keep the sun off my face and ears.

The hat was very large and would have slipped down over my eyes if the crown wasn't as shallow as it was. Altogether unsuitable for anyone without a large size head. That said, the color was pleasant and the construction acceptable.

I like this bucket hat overall. It has quite a few nice features.The material is a waterproof, dri-fit type of material that is light weight and comfortable.It's a one-size hat but there is a drawstring cinch on the back that you can use to tighten up the ring of the hat to make it less loose on your head.It's breathable....it has ample venting to keep your head cool.It has a neck tie that you can cinch up if you want to ensure it's not going to fall off.The size of the rim is big enough that it will provide some protection for you neck eyes from the sun.A couple of things I didn't like:First, the tag is in Chinese so you cannot read anything the tag says, unless of course you know Chinese. I don't understand why, if you're selling your product to an American audience, that you don't at least make sure English is on the tag. I had to use Google translate and take a photo to see what the tag says (care instructions, etc.)Ironically, the one word on the inside tag that is in English is the word "Tips"....then everything that follows is in Chinese, which I can't read.The other thing that I would say is slightly negative is that I think it's a bit over-priced (about $30 as of this review). I've seen quite a few similar bucket had items on Amazon that are less than half the price. Quality varies of course but there are plenty of other options that would be 33% less and even some more than 50% less.Overall, it's nice quality with some nice features. I'm just not sure the quality and features are better than some of the other items you can get for well under $20.

Hat has a wide brim, is light weight and is good for keeping the sun out of one's face when lounging. It is not suitable for wearing when doing any kind of strenuous activity because it does not naturally hold its shape. It's flexible enough to fold easily and stuff in a backpack. A creative person could use hook and loop tape, snaps or buttons to personalize the look of the hat or make it more useful for whatever activity they want to use it for. Look like it doesn't require any special care when it comes to washing it. Seems it could be thrown in the machine with jeans and tees. I ordered the blue which is the color of the chambray shirts I used to wear in the USN. Seems to be made out of the same or similar fabric.

My husband needed a new fishing hat. Usually he gets a light color, beige or tan, to keep as cool as possible in the FL sun. The blue-gray is nice for a change. He will be on the water for the entire day. The sun tends to rot the fabric over time. We hope this will last, as it is such a nice hat. It fit his big head just fine. There is an adjustment cord if you need to tailor to your size. He likes there is a chin strap, which he only uses when the wind requires it. I used the phone translator to learn about the hat. Tag says hand wash, but the ad says hand or machine wash. I'll go with the machine and cross my fingers. You can't go wrong with this hat, in our opinion.
