Battery looks well made but is probably not close to 6 ah. I ran an LED light on one that initially drew about 1.2 amps and the battery was dead in around 3 hours. It does not weigh as much as a 5 amp OEM battery either, battery density is on par with the energy it can store. This 6 amp battery weighs in at 579 grams and the OEM 5 amp weighs more at 650 grams. It slides into the charger and tool well enough so that is good. If you are OK with less capacity for less money then these should work for you.

I was slightly nervous beca7se it wasn’t a Akita battery, but the price difference made it worth it a try. So far I have no complaints

The battery life is way to shot!!! and from what I see on you tube that's been the complaint.

We have been using these daily for weeks and no complaint. I do not have a way of measuring if its really a 6.0 battery but it does seem to run for a while and doesn't give much issue. These will charge on a factory Makita charger which is a huge plus because not all aftermarket batteries fit the Makita charger.
