I really like to hang onto tools and these batteries helped me to hang onto my DeWalt drill. The drill is old but looks and performs like brand new. I ordered these RYIBME nimh batteries to replace the old DeWalt DC9098 nicad batteries that go along with the drill. I couldn’t believe you get two batteries for the price they are asking which is $27.99 (March 18, 2025) and the shipping was very fast too.The RYIBME batteries came partially charged and I used the OEM DeWalt DW9116 nicad charger to top them off. Since the RYIBME batteries were already partially charged, it didn’t take very much time to get them to fully charged. The charger worked very well which was a relief because I was just a little leery of using a nicad charger for nimh batteries. RYIBME product page states that their nimh batteries are compatible with the DeWalt DW9116 nicad charger I am using and I figure it must have something to do with the electronics they put in their batteries to make them compatible. Other compatible OEM DeWalt chargers are listed on the product page in the photo section. I kept an eye on the charger and it performed the way it should. Long blinking light while charging and a steady on light when charge is completed. Both batteries worked very well in my DeWalt drill. So far, I am very satisfied with this order.

These extra batteries for my DeWalt tools came partially charged and charged quickly. They fit my tools as expected, and add extra running time to my projects. They seem to be of good quality materials but after trying to use them with a drill auger to drill holes in clay-loam soil, they did not last as long expected, and one of the batteries got a bit warm when recharging.These are NiMH, important to note as some of these style batteries are lithium, and you need to use a charger designed for the battery type.

I always been at the Walt guy and absolutely love all my DeWalt 18 volt tools and replacing update them as often as I can find them the problem is the new 20 volt battery platform does not fit the 18 volt which I currently own the batteries purchased from DeWalt themselves are so absurdly priced it would make you want to forget about power tools these aftermarket batteries are as good if not better than the original ones in my opinion the battery life on them is the same as the original they charge just as quickly as the original and the cases appear to be made exactly the same so far the durability and functionality of these has surpass my expectations I will try and get as many of these as possible and slowly get rid of the original ones which no longer charge or once fully charged only last 15 minutes during use I don't know how long these will last but right now compared to the original ones these are superior I would definitely recommend these 18 volt replacement batteries I would definitely recommend these batteries to anybody was looking for a good quality well built aftermarket battery for the 18 volt dewalt tools without breaking the bank

Great set of batteries for a great value. Really good overall. It’s always a good idea to get batteries that are aftermarket. The value is just so great and they work so well for what you need. Now I’m not saying these work as well as the originals. I’m saying for a DIY need this every once in a while he’s bad or just fine and we’re great and lasts a real long time. You can have them and use them for hours on end and I don’t see why you would need more than that on the average person. If you need a battery that lasted forever Really you can get several and be fine also but these are really good ones.
