its smaller than expected,but super bright. I bought to light and support a star trek display, and although the displayed item is bigger than it the light that it provides is very bright, out side of that it looks great.

After looking at loads of light bases for my special large crystal photo block, I settled on this one.I Have been using it everyday on a lounge side table. I love the USB lead that I connect to my electric lounge- no batteries needed, but there is the option to use batteries if required.The light base can fade colour change through several shades including red, yellow light, dark blue, white... or I can select a particular colour to stay on, by pressing a button at the rear.The large illuminated mirror base is perfect for my crystal block which is in no danger of easily being knocked off as a smaller base I used previously.A bit pricey but seems a quality product.
