These are nicely made cross bars and were easy to fit once I figured out how to remove the plastic cover. They're made of nicely formed aluminum and have a good textured finish. The supports are nice as well and I'll be interested to see how the plastic holds up on them.Installation was easy once I figured out how to remove the plastic parts. The instructions were not clear on this at all but to do so, you use the key to unlock them and they come right off. The instructions made it seem like you just pull them off but that doesn't work. They grip the top rails of the CX-90 with a clamped feature along with rubber gaskets to grip better and not mar the top rails. There is a slight whistling noise with these installed if we have the moon roof fabric cover open and it's much more pronounced with the glass open too. My plan is to have these on when we need them and remove otherwise because of this and the reduced mpg but for the cost I think these are a great option. Overall I'd recommend but as with most cross bars they do increase wind noise and drag.

So far so good. Very solid rack and is mostly easy to install. Keep in mind these are more of an install and forget it kind of thing than taking them off and putting them on regularly. It's a 10 minute process, so not difficult, but not something you want to be doing all the time. They look good, are really solid and fit the car perfectly. Price is about average for what it is.

These are my first ever cross bars, so I don't have a ton of experience with them. I ordered these so that I could transport my standup paddleboards this summer. The etesan cross bars arrived quickly, packaged very well. Installation would have been relatively straightforward if the instructions were better. The first step in the printed instructions that come inside the package simply say to separate the plastic cover from the clamps. There are no other instructions for how to do that. After struggling with it for what felt like ages, I went to my computer and looked up the product listing. The correct instructions for removing the plastic outer cover were on the webpage. Once I got past this step, the rest of the installation was straightforward. It is a bit tricky to tighten the crossbars once they are on the car because you need to tighten them from the underside. I like that these have an anti-theft locking mechanism, although I don't love the idea of keeping track of keys for them. The crossbars are a bit taller than I thought they would be, but they work well.

These fit to a CX-90 perfectly. The clamps have a rubberized coating to protect the factory siderails and the shape of the clamp is an exact fight. I like the slim profile and the matte black finish feels well done, has not chipped or rubbed through so far, and I think looks nicer than the silver options. These are a significant discount compared to the Mazda branded crossbars that are available. That being said, the two downsides are that they sit just slightly higher than the first party crossbars and they do not include any kind of wind management system to break up laminar flow and cut down on wind noise. The noise from these isn't bad and can certainly be drowned out with the radio easily but is noticeable at highway speeds compared to the naked roof.

The instructions are lacking but these go on in about 10 minutes. They are pretty nice, feel sturdy, and look good up there. If you ever think you might want a roof rack, this will get you set up perfectly. But, first thing is first: When you go to install these, the first step is to remove the covers of the clamps. Visually, it looks like there is a button to push on each side. The pictures don't show anything at all but the answer is to remove the end caps and then use the key to unlock and pop off the cover. I almost broke one before I figured that out. After that little struggle, the rest flies together. The hardest part is tightening the bottom screws under the cross pieces as you have to leave them loose enough to adjust the overall width while installing the rail clamps.Overall, great product and at a good price.
