It's kind of flimsy and the bar cushions provided to put over the bar for comfort are nearly impossible to slide on.

My wife has wanted a higher handlebar on her stationary bike for years, we didn't think to look for an extension until a few days ago. This is wonderful.Granted I'm a long-term DIY'er so this was easy-peasy for me. There are a number of reviews about problems installing on strollers, etc. especially by people without much experience putting things together. You might need to be a little creative as well as patient (it's been 70+ years since we've had a toddler in permanent residence, but I remember).

I dont review products on AMZN much but felt compelled to with this item given the large # of low reviews which dont seem justified. I installed this on a wagon stroller with a handlebar that was designed way too short resulting in constantly kicking the front axle when in use. I put the clamps right over the foam cover on the handlebar which admittedly will damage the foam somewhat, but when tightened down to the max - i recommend using a socket wrench vs a hex wrench for max torque - the thing wont budge. Length is perfect to avoid kicking the axle. Price point at $40 is high but considering this product is really the one out there of its kind, the company has the right to charge a premium until the copycats come out. Previously I used a bike handlebar extender which stayed on but the connectors were just too short to be of any real help with the issue.Update: the foam on the handlebar being connected to had to be removed as there was some slippage but the connector is holding snugly with the rubber gaskets and some double sided tape for good measure.Final Update: it is trickier than thought for the connector not to slip. Tried dbl sided tape, rubber tape and duct tape and nothing seems to hold it. Shifted gears and tried sandpaper oddly enough it was the only thing that worked. It needs to be under the connector and against the metal handle. Even better to glue two small pieces together so the sandpaper is also against the top connector bracket. Only way to get a bite.

Poorly made, difficult to install, and expensive. The handle was scratched when it arrived. It got more scratches when trying to install it. The handle moves constantly while using it. It's supposed to be a "feature" but it is not helpful. Despite tightening the handle as much as, it still moves while walking. I keep the hex wrench in the cart to tighten it while walking. Comfort grips won't fit on the handle. I wouldn't use it for a baby stroller. It's attached to a pet stroller so durability is not as important. I'm 5'10" and needed something to extend the handle. I would have returned it, but it was difficult to try to remove the extender to return it.

First it came with scratches & looked used, so they sent me a used one when I paid full price for a new one & second this thing is trash. The handle is cheap & no matter how tight you tighten it, it won’t stay in place & keeps sliding down. I was hesitant to buy given the overinflated price (it might be worth $10-$12 tops) & the other reviews but I was looking for a longer handle extension than I already had, this had potential but very poor execution.
