I ordered this $26 Homestead set of three wicker trays (Amazon ASIN B0DP4428TY) because I wanted to spruce up my bathroom, where I keep various personal care items that I want to organize neatly. So, I wanted a light, airy, easy-to-clean set of matching trays to hold common bathroom essentials.This set of rattan trays is very nice, and they have a beautiful mother-of-pearl pattern. The rattan refers to the climbing palm vine whose light, strong, and, most importantly, long, slender stems form the four walls of these trays. They're woven so tightly that these walls are like rigid slats of wood. They're wonderfully strong, yet light.The mother-of-pearl design appears to be set into a matrix on top of an underlying rectangular plastic piece the size of the tray. The resulting rainbow-like sheen of the inlays is pretty and adds a slightly luxurious elegance to the display of the humble toiletries that will be placed within each tray.The "boho" (aka Bohemian) free-spirited unconventional green-colored design of the base, with the inclusion of plant motifs reminds me of the general sense of natural beach and palm tree aesthetics, but also a garden aesthetic. These trays are perfect for use in the bathroom. They are not heavy, but they are sturdy nonetheless. The two smaller trays fit nicely inside the largest tray, which makes storage easier. Cleaning may be difficult, especially if mold grows on the weaving, as it's hard to keep clean. But other than that, these are perfect for my intended use to elegantly hold common toiletries in the bathroom.Score: 4 out of 5
