This is my third set! Love them. Just the right size for my convection oven. Durable and clean up easily. Would like a bread pan in future selections.

I like that they are easy to stack and fit in my dishwasher. They are a bit small but they work for me.

I am new to watercolour so this is not an expert opinion. I started off with cheap brushes and it was soon obvious that they were not holding the paint and reacting the same as the quality brushes being used by instructors on you-tube videos. So after a bit of research I settled on these Princeton aqua elite brushes, they hold plenty of paint and water and retain their shape. I am not a vegetarian or anything but it did not sit comfortable with me that an animal should die just so I could paint, so being synthetic was a must. I have not given 5 stars as I have only had them a month and can not say if they will stand the test of time. But up until now I am very pleased with these brushes.

I tested these brushes side by side with my 25 yr old 3/8” Kolinsky sable brush. (see photo).The sable outperformed the Aqua Elite with ease in every instance — I could use the single Kolinsky brush to replace all of these brushes, and get noticably better results with less effort in almost all instances.The two smaller rounds are quite usable if used with care, and are stiff enough to help with fine detail (see the smaller patches of light green), but the oval and flat struggled to lay down an even wash, leaving streaks and blotches even with ample fluid. They tended to dump pigment onto the paper, where the sable delivered a perfectly even flow.With my sable brush, I don’t have to think about how the brush is doing — it’s automatic.None of the Aqua Elites could load as much water as the sable.The 3/8” sable was easily able to lay down an even 2” wide wash 30” long.The Aqua Elite flat and oval couldn’t come close to that
