This interactive toy encourages her to crawl as it rolls across the floor, making it an exciting chase. The mirror on top captures her attention, allowing her to explore her reflection, which she finds fascinating.Earl also plays cheerful tunes and lights up, providing a multi-sensory experience that keeps her engaged and stimulates her development. The toy is well-made and safe for little ones, ensuring it can withstand her enthusiastic play.One minor drawback is that it consumes batteries fairly quickly, so I’ve made sure to keep extras on hand. Additionally, since it rolls away, it can sometimes get out of reach, which might be a bit frustrating for her as she is still mastering crawling. Overall, the Baby Einstein Chase & Tap Earl toy has been a wonderful source of fun and movement for my daughter, and I highly recommend it to other parents looking for an engaging toy for their little ones.

My wife and I have a wide variety of Baby Einstein products, and in general they're some of our favorite toys for our baby and I'd normally give them 5 stars.That said this one I think 4 stars is more appropriate, and I'll explain why below.It is adorable, and it is designed in a way to incentivize your baby to move it because it makes the beads turmble around as they roll this. It also plays different kinds of music. The ears itself are different colors for sensory/visual development. There's a cute mirror in the middle which I think would be better if it was bigger.I know in our case my baby can't see herself in the mirror, and if she could she'd probably use it a lot more.The buttons are also a little confusing and it was hard to figure out how to change the mode to songs vs. languages, colors, etc. And it does seem like you have to move the elephant around back and forth. My baby is not a fan of rolling things around on her own so this is ultimately used more in a stationary mode for her. So YMMV in terms of how it is used.I will say I did appreciate that this included batteries as well.Solid 4 out of 5. Still recommended overall.

There are a lot of choices in the market that claim to encourage crawling but this is the only one I've seen that actually worked. The baby played with it stationary for a couple of months before we send it on crawl mode, so maybe that helps.

So this toy turned out to be a lot bigger than I thought it would be based on the listing. It is very cute, colorful and engaging, pretty consistent with everything one would expect from Baby Einstein. However, against all odds our 11 month old grand baby is terrified of it, especially when the sounds and lights are activated, she literally runs away, cries and hides in a tight hug of anyone around. We really tried to help her adjust but something about this toy is apparently intimidating. I cannot help but think it is the mighty size (see my attached photo next to a jar of Enfamil formula). We will keep trying to get her used to it and I am sure will succeed eventually. Just sharing our unique concern so you are away it may be an issue.
