These are very good, quality looks good.The set screw is very precise.One thing to be aware of is the setscrew, if you are turning it and nothing happens and eventually you hear a soft click you reached the end turn it the other way (could take quite a few turns) and you will notice the change.

I needed this to eliminate batteries from a clock a friend gave me. The LED ring light was a 12v light and drained the LED battery really fast. I purchased this and adusted the output to 1.5v for the clock and it works great! I even reduced the LED input voltage to 7v due to it being too bright, and the clock output voltage stayed at exactly 1.5v despite the input voltage reduction. VERY happy with it!FYI Read directions and follow other reviewers comments about the adjustment screw needing to be turned so many times to adjust output voltage (counter clockwise to bring voltage down). This saved me a lot of agrivation and time.
