Really like this cable because it removes the man-in-the-middle, since I no longer need to have an RCA-to-HDMI converter in my chain anymore. At least for my higher-def consoles, the picture feels like it may somehow be a bit crisper/cleaner than using my RCA adapter.So far it's worked fine on my N64 & GameCube. No complaints!

So our son and daughter both left us with their Nintendo 64 game consoles when they left the nest. As a family we played Mario Kart and Double Dash (Game Cube) when they weren’t busy being kids. When they left, the consoles went into their boxes to be returned to them when they got into their own homes. Years later, we still have them and we have no interest upgrading to newer gaming systems. So it was a surprise to find this adapter that can connect to our new tv and resurrect those old games. It’s just my husband and me playing each other these days, and he is way better than I am, but it’s fun to clear the cob webs off those old skills and play again. I still prefer Oculus’ Beat Saber, but reentering the Mario realm is a fun way to engage with my husband in retirement! Now the kids are wanting to challenge us on their old games!

I have a N64 and this was great for converting the usual plug-in into HDMI so I don't have to worry about future TVs not having the proper connection with my old-school N64. The image quality is pretty much the same and you can switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios to suit your playing needs. Totally worth it at 18.99

First I want to mention, this cable will work with probably 90% of N64 games. In the instructions is mentions that games with a 240p resolution will not work with this cable so I guess it’s a wash up to as which games those are.Now, this worked with about 10 of the N64 games I own (Goldeneye, Turok, Cruisin USA, WWF Attitude etc… ) this cable unfortunately didn’t work with my Flash Cart for the N64
