Purchased this specifically for hand stitching very traditional English Paper Pieced patchwork and has proven to be one of my better choices. Strong, yet fine enough for EPP so that the thread colour doesn't show, expensive for thread - you might say - but really worth it as the quality of Aurifil is rarely faulted. At the moment plain off-white is being used in my project along with various patterned designs and have found the colour Dove #2600 just disappears into the fabric no matter the colour being worked on.

Love sewing with Aurifil cotton, mostly always use this colour.
