I've tried two different RCA connection cable types between my vintage Dual turntable and my receiver/amplifier. I wasn't satisfied with the quality of music and I continued to have a low hum constantly. The hum was eliminated completely and audio range was great. Buy the quality item!

I'm a recording engineer and an audiophile. If you're currently down a hifi rabbit-hole, you know the stupid prices people charge for interconnects. Most of those cables are actually worse than these. These are suprisingly great hifi cables. There are only a few things you want... 1) 99.9 oxygen free multi-stranded copper wire, not coaxial (Stranded wire is flexible; coaxial is not. That's literally the only difference between the two); 2) high-density OFC braided shield; high quality abrasion resistant outer sheeth (helps if it looks and feels nice to the touch, and these do); 3) Rugged high quality male connectors on each end, made of metal... not plastic or rubber, metal. Gold plated ends, not silver. Silver is nominally more conductive than gold, but silver oxidize, which is terrible for audio. Gold doesn't oxidize and will be shiny and clean literally until the end of the universe. High end cables have good solder joints inside, between the wire and the connector (these do). That is everything you need for a great cable. People pay hundreds, even thousands of dollars on audio cables that promise to do this or that, because of this or that. And morons with money buy them. Fact is, cables are a lucrative scam. If you really want the absolute most high-end cables money can buy, order a bunch of Mogami RCA Pure Patch cables. That's what's used at every single one of the worlds most famous recording studios. So if you really want to hear it "like it sounded in the studio"... that's the stuff. Otherwise these will do very nicely for the price.

The cable transfers the music signal correctly, the sound is rich and well balanced playing through this cable. I use this between my Bluetooth receiver and my Rega Mira amplifier which drives my Sonus Faber speakers. I am absolutely not going to buy Monster or Audio quest. This cable does it all and I enjoy the music.
