My old bird bath cracked with the below freezing weather. This one was fine and I had no problem with the cold weather.

I've never purchased anything of this poor of quality. The mount was so weak that it couldn't be tightened enough so it wouldn't fall off. I could tell it was cheap when I first put it on my railing this morning so I didn't tighten it much (still able to slide around, but figured birds wouldn't knock it over so it'd be fine. I then watched it fall off in the wind (that's how loose it was to keep from bending the clip). So I went to put it back on and tighten it further, but as soon as I started tightening it past where it could slide around it started to bend the entire clip, which meant it never got tight enough to not slide right back off. The clip was bent open and the bowl was no longer level before I finally got it tight enough, so I thought. Then it slipped right off, because of the bent clip.In the end I paid $20 for a plastic bowl...cool.

Pros: Easy to mount to the deck and bath is plastic so can use all seasonCons: after many attempts I could not get it to level out so it is at an angle. Only able to put in about half the amount of water it should be able to handle otherwise it spills out. Have been using it for platform feeder instead so still getting use out of it

El plástico es grueso y la estructura muy estable.

Ideal para poner en una mesa exterior. Es discreto y a la vez estético.

As I have just ordered my THIRD of this very same birdbath, I figure it's time I write a review to let others know why this has turned out to be the BEST railing birdbath I've tried in 5+ years of trial & error. If you have a balcony or deck situation with no on-site water source, you already know the importance of emptying/cleaning the water regularly--it gets filthy, fast (birds tend to land, drink/dunk/splash adorably, then do a perky hop-turn on the edge of a birdbath to deposit a poop in the water before they take off--it just... never fails 🫤). If you can't simply reach for a convenient hose to blast-clean-refill the bath... then you definitely want a design with a bowl that lifts out simply, easily. (You don't want to be trying to un-screw or un-clamp a bath full of sloshing funky water. I had an elegant 2-dish model which was metal, and the dishes lifted off at the pivot-point... BUT: with time, the metal got stiffer and rustier at that pivot point, so forcing it off to refill it invariably resulted in a tug-jerk-SLOSH. Blech.) You would think (I did) that metal would be ideal so as not to blow away in heavy winds.... however: the hammered copper one I bought got so hot in the sun I couldn't touch it--and the birds wisely stayed clear of the soup pot. The black-painted metal one started flaking off its black coating within a month... and rusting through. Without terribly high hopes, I ordered this one--and: wow. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy quality of the dish. I'm not a fan of plastic, but as plastic goes: this is solid stuff. It's not going to bend or warp. And here's the thing: I eventually got the guts to do a trial run of that dish in the dishwasher.... hallelujah! It emerged spotlessly clean, with NO indication of fading or warping or hazing; no nasty detergent smell permeating the material. And THAT was a game-changer. Such an easy, reliable way to keep that dish sanitary. I ordered a second one of the same model for my front balcony. And now, I've ordered this 3rd one, specifically so I have one spare dish to rotate among the 2 bases in the cycle of keeping them clean. YES, the dish is light, and needs to be weighted in case of high winds. I used rocks at first, but I've now changed to glass canning weights (the kind that get used in jars to weigh down ferments; Amazon sells several brands/sizes) because they don't absorb funk/slime which would then be reintroduced to the clean water... and... yup, they too can go in the dishwasher. All of this gave me peace of mind in particular given the severe avian flu this past year. CAVEAT: I have been using (and dishwasher-ing) the first one since I received it--but it has only been about 2.5 months. So I can't speak to its longevity. So far, so good... so good that I've risked the investment in a third of the very same model. It's not the prettiest--but it's tidy and discreet-looking, and if your railing happens to be black (mine is), it blends nicely.

El producto es tal cual, como viene en la descripción. El plato un poco ligero, tener cuidado con el viento, o colocar una roca pesada para evitar que el viento lo pueda mover.
