(In english for the foreign colleagues) The delivery was lightspeed fast, 2 days, no Prime. The microphone is a blessing. If you have mic discipline and are able to hold it very close to your mouth ALL THE TIME, this is your next live mic. With it, I'm able to raise my volume to the limit without any feedback, which ends forever my "competition for volume" with the band in the rehearsal room and with the drums in small stages. My voice sounds brighter than with a Shure SM58, which is perfect for me.I can only recommend. Buy this little guy and you'll forget your other wired mics.

Recoge bien la voz e impide que se metan otros sonidos de la banda, tipo los platos de la batería que en el shure se escucha todo

For 25 years, I've pretty much used the industry standard Shure microphones, starting with the SM58, then the Beta 58A and most recently the Beta 87A. With each upgrade, my vocal sound gets better, and the supercardioid polar pattern, of both the 58A and 87A, has been pretty good at reducing the amount of stage sound that "bleeds" into my mic. However, I now sing with a 13-piece soul/funk band, which means I'm much closer to the other musicians than I would be in a smaller band. After I switched over to an IEM system, I've become very aware of what my mic is picking up besides my vocal. Despite having a powerful voice, and singing with my lips touching the microphone, the sheer volume of drums, guitars, and brass, in such close proximity, causes a significant amount of unwanted background noise through my mic - as my sound engineer always says, "remember, the loudest sound always wins". Whenever we play a venue with difficult acoustics, our engineer invariably has to battle feedback "squeal" whilst trying to keep my vocals on top of the mix.I heard about the Audix OM7 from another engineer we worked with, and who made some pretty bold claims about its ability to reject pretty much every sound except my voice. Extensive online research seemed to confirm this, so I decided to take the plunge.Wow. Just wow!!!Not only is the sound of this dynamic mic equivalent to that of my Beta 87A condenser mic, but the amount of off-axis rejection is simply stunning. I was able to A-B test this with a Beta 58A mic at a recent gig, in a very reverberant hall (using the multitrack recording on our digital mixing console), and our engineer was able to boost the OM7 to volumes far higher than the Beta 58C, before feedback set in. Another bonus was the sheer clarity of my voice in my own IEM mix.I'm now in the process of selling my collection of Shure mics in order to purchase a couple more OM7s for the other singers in my band, they are that good.Just on caveat. if you're a quiet singer in an acoustic or jazz band, you don't need this mic. There are other great mics that would be better suited for you. But if you're in a loud band, with a drummer, guitar amp or other loud instruments all around you, then this mic is just the ticket.
