El cartucho ofrece una excelente separación de canales y baja distorsión para una calidad tonal excepcional. La carcasa duradera de baja resonancia incluye insertos roscados que permiten montar el cartucho en la carcasa de la cabeza con solo dos tornillos, no requiere tuercas. Y dado que todas las series VM95 comparten el mismo cuerpo, el lápiz óptico se puede reemplazar con cualquiera de los seis lápices de repuesto intercambiables at-vmn95.

私もAT-VM95Cで、レコードを聴いていましたが、緑の95Eよりも少しハイグレードで、赤の95MLまでは、交換針が大変なので、オレンジのAT-VM95ENに変えました。この商品は評価が高いだけあり、丸針と違うのは、ボーカル、ピアノ、バイオリンの表現が、いっそうクリアでメリハリのあるすばらしい再生が楽しめます。商品に人気が集中しているため、変え針が、品薄状態にならなければいいと思いました。

Durante mucho tiempo usé capsulas Audio-Technica de aguja elíptica bonded, sin embargo decidí probar con una capsula Audio-technica con aguja elíptica desnuda. La capsula fué instalada en una tornamesa Technics modelo SL-D3. El cambio mas notable es una reproducción de los sonidos agudos mas precisa y los transientes (sonidos que súbitamente suben de nivel como es el sonido producido por un golpe) son reproducidos correctamente, la aguja desnuda es mas ligera que la aguja de tipo bonded, de ahi su rápida reacción ante transientes. la magnifica separación de canales es la típica que caracteriza a las capsulas Audio-Technica, el sonido en general es claro, sin distorsión audible. Muy buen desempeño para su precio.

Great cartridge for the price. Detailed, neutral. Complete black background, clean sounding. No sibilances, and still detailed. Bass is there, tidy bass, not a DJ cartridge though, no messy big bass. Sound also not the most opened ever, not the most holographic ever. But then again, this is a 100€ MM cartridge. It beats ortofon read, but if you want magic, we gotta spend 200-300€, for a MC, with a proper phono preamp... This one is the best for the price I guess. If you have a great setup, go for ML or shibata better, or for a denon 103. But for an affordable great cardtridge, for not the best records, used records, this is more than good.

I have a been using a variety of styluses over the years, including models by Shure, Audio Technica (we go waaaaay back), Ortofon etc.The old-school Shure M44-7 has been a favorite because of the tone, clarity and intensity. As you likely know, that option is off the table.I gravitated to the Ortofon Red as a solution. Great stylus...very accurate, great tracking, looks amazing but almost too good to be true. I found it to rival a CD and almost has a CD sound. At least in my system. Nothing wrong with that. It's quite the technical achievement! So I dug a little into my pocket and bought an Ortofon Blue and have been very pleased with it. It checks every box and I'm really happy with it.How does it stack up against the Ortofon 2M Blue in sound quality? I believe the 2M Blue is very comparable but has a slightly more open, full sound. But that is listening very carefully through headphones and being super critical. When sitting in a chair, listening in through speakers (I use Klipsch and a Marantz PM6006 amp) there's no discernible difference.So why did I buy the AT-VM95EN?I like the idea of an inexpensive system that brings you options of Spherical to Shiabata. There's nothing pretentious about this line. It's so perfect in every way. Perfect mounting (the nuts are embedded in the cartridge for easy install/alignment. Looks amazing. Inexpensive and rivals much more expensive other options.I also bought it because I have more than one turntable. The table I use the 2M Blue on is the same one I digitize vinyl with. I needed something that I could use that didn't break the bank but was also fantastic to listen to. The AT-VM95EN checks all the boxes. And the best part - if I am playing older used vinyl, i can easily swap in the AT-VM95C stylus (the blue one) without any aligning or adjusting tracking force. It's a winning system. I was so happy with it, I even wrote the company to tell them how much I appreciate it.Now I'm more likely to one day move up to the microline (red) or shiabata (brown). But today, I'm LOVING the AT-VM95EN. I'm kind of curious about the non-nude stylus, the AT-VM95e (green) but assuming now that it's similar but less than equal to the AT-VM95EN. If you are curious, the inexpensive AT-VM95C is worth look at too, if not just to play those older records without ruining your AT-VM95EN.
