Excellent replacement for OEM on my 2008 SeaRay 290SLX. These are very bright, high quality, and fit in the original spot very well. Yes, I did have to drill a couple new holes. They come with the LED light installed.

Easy install, replaced 16 year old OEM lights so massive upgrade, and now I am legal again!

This is one of a pair, red and green are in separate housings for vessels with wide bows like pontoon boats and deck boats. Excellent waterproof lights. Handy indicator light on top to confirm that they are on without having to go to the forward deck. These are 2 mile lights for vessels up to 20 m, 65 ft. Their rating is embossed in the plastic next to the lens and stamped into the stainless steel cover as required by USCG; I don't see that on a lot of the cheap ones on Amazon meaning they probably have not been tested and approved. For those who want more details, see the attached pics of my light taken apart. I did this to satisfy my curiosity. The light is sealed into the lens. No you don't have to assemble it unless you go to the effort of taking it apart. (The only assembly is to put the stainless steel cover over the plastic case after the case is screwed to the deck.) Hopefully in the future, the whole light will be small like the working parts are now since the large case is no longer needed except to fill the space where the old incandescent lights were removed.
