Love my new phones. I had a couple that were getting old and not working properly. I ordered these and they are great. They actually have features my old phones did not have. I have heard that AT&T are getting rid of land lines but I needed phones now and hope it is a while before they quit having these lines and go to cell phones only. These are very good phones at a great price on Amazon.

Got these to replace my 25 year old set. Don't know why these were so buried in the searches, but glad I finally found them. I needed ones WITHOUT answering machine--as it conflicted with the voice mail service of my carrier, and would freeze the phone. Also wanted ones with integrated rechargeable batteries, other models came with plain old batteries. I'm a dinosaur "land line" user, living on a small farm. I refuse to carry a cell phone around at home. I have one of these extensions 1/2 acre away from the base, and it works beautifully! All features work as expected.

I have wrapped them back up and I am going to send them back. When you are trying to talk on the phone, all you can hear is every other word from the person that you are talking to. You can charge the phones for 12-24 hours everyday the battery still dies fast. If I was you I wouldn’t waste my time paying them I wish somebody had told me before I purchase them.
