I've been happy with this mobo for an Ubuntu 24 + Win 11 dual boot work machine, it's a long awaited upgrade from primarily a dual Xeon HP Z820 workstation which takes a real long slow time to open Win 10. I added 4 Corsair Vengeance 5.2Ghz 32GB intel xmp DDR5, Arctic freezer 420mm, and an open bench table instead of a customary ATX case. Seasonic Forcus V4 PSU, Sabrent Rocket 5 m.2, a couple Silcon Power 4tb nvme m.2, Ultra 5 CPU, and dual NVIDIA Gforce RTX 3060 GPU. Only had it for a few months, no complaints... but when flashing the Bios, make sure the led light behaves correctly. If it blinks three or four times and goes out, it did not write the data to the mobo, so go back a step and redo until it works.

I ordered ASUS PRIME Z890-P and have been very satisfied with the motherboard. It has everything you need; just make sure you’re looking for LGA 1851 for compatibility with cpu and gpu :)I love the at it has all ports and features that I need, including wifi.Overall the ASUS PRIME Z890-P is a fantastic motherboard for any kind of pc you’re looking to build, just MAKE SURE YOUR CPU AND GPU ARE ALSO LGA 1851 :)

previous mATX model of the same series has a defect in the connectors for the CPUreturned and purchased the full ATX model installed and works.The Full ATX has the Bios battery exposed on the MB the mATX is under the rear USB HDMI Aluminum Block.

Over the past few weeks, I had two Z890 motherboards that were dead on arrival. The first one would not see the drives. I Worked with Asus support for days and was finally told to return it, as it did.Ordered another Prime Z890-P and this time the motherboard would not power up. Got a flashing power light and never got any video. I contacted support again and again and was told by support to return the motherboard.Now I have an Intel Prime CPU, DDR 5 chips etc. and I don’t know what I am going to do. What a mess. I have been building computer for years and have never had this problem before. My current build is a Asus Prime Z490-A that I built years ago and is still running great.Very disappointed

Good, fair price and good conectivity. Some drivers issue on the WIFI 7 module but thats about it, they fixed it on the next version (not available via Asus DriverHub yet at the moment i wrote this review), but i trust asus will upload them soon. Anyway driver issues is very common with a recently launched motherboards so...Besides that, the motherboard is simple, robust and has a good conectivity.
