I got these batteries for my A6500, and they are working well. Battery lifetime is fine, and it is very convenient to charge with a USB C cable. I recommend them.

Works well in an old a7ii and the charging upgrade is well worth it.

I was not familiar with Artman when I got a similar pair of cyan-colored batteries from them in August 2024, but I am very pleased with those and hence was very interested in seeing what the upgrade here was. You can see the older cyan Artman, this white upgrade, and an original Sony battery in the photo; there are no significant differences in the physical structure other than the Artman ones having a USB C charging port that the Sony doesn't.That charging port is because the Lithium Ion charge circuitry is built into the battery, so no separate charger is needed -- a feature that is becoming popular among 3rd-party batteries. There is a simple LED that lights when charging and changes color when done. The battery comes with a charging cable, but no USB power supply... which isn't a big deal. The cable is a little unusual in that it has two USB C ends so that it can charge two batteries at once from a single USB A supply. According to the ads, the upgrade over the cyan version is "Different from traditional multi-USB charging cables, we upgraded the split design." The wording is also a little different in describing some safety features of the new version. The upgrades are not obvious to me, but certainly nothing about the newer one seems inferior to the older version. It used to be that 3rd-party smart batteries often were recognized as "fakes" by cameras which would then refuse to operate with them, and some camera models and firmware revisions are pickier than others. Over the years, I've amassed quite a collection of NP-FW50 batteries and clones, including several rejected by my newer cameras or even by my original NEX-5 after I updated the firmware.Incidentally, the main reason I'm still buying more NP-FW50 is that I have a fleet of Sony cameras (NEX-5, NEX-7, two A6000, A6500, A7, A7II, and two A7RII) that take this battery and about half of the batteries I have eventually (after multiple years of use) started to swell a little, which is a major danger sign for Lithium Ion batteries. If your batteries are becoming a tight fit into your camera, they are swelling too and you should properly dispose of them.Anyway, I've tried using this battery in my Sony A7RII (as well as my NEX-7, A6500, and A7II), which is one of the latest and presumably pickiest models taking this battery, and, happily, it seems to work identically to the Sony-branded original batteries. It's too early to say if this battery will hold charge as well as Sonys over time, but so far, so good -- which I expected, because the cyan Artman ones still work great. Of course, these new white batteries fit my Sony cameras perfectly.Overall, I think the concept of not needing an external charger is really good and worthy of a 5/5, although the benefit is reduced slightly by the fact that you still need to carry a USB cable to charge it. In terms of what's now on the market, this joins Artman's cyan version as one of several alternatives that I can very strongly recommend. The cyan-colored version is still available for $1 less as I write this, which means that the price difference for the white-colored upgrade is negligible. At this point, I trust Artman enough to believe the upgrade is worth the extra $1 even without knowing precisely what was upgraded...
